    Abstract: A wheel speed sensor includes a housing having a longitudinal axis. The housing receives a speed measurement instrument and faces an exciter ring upon insertion into an opening in a sensor mounting block spaced from the excite ring such that the instrument senses rotation of the exciter ring. A plurality of springs are mounted in the housing and project radially outwardly therefrom with at least a subset of the springs engaging a surface of the opening in the sensor mounting block. Each spring has first and second ends over molded by the housing and an intermediate section between the first and second ends spaced from a radially outer surface of the housing.

Pivotal support means supports each brake arm lever on the bicycle adjacent the wheel rim and is disposed between the first and second ends of each brake arm lever, causing each brake arm lever to function as a first class lever. At least one pair of complementarily configured crank arm levers each has a first arm, a second arm, and a pivotal support adjacent an end of the first arm. Brake actuating devices secured adjacent the end of the second arm of each crank arm lever pivots the crank arm levers simultaneously about their pivotal support.

The elongate members are uniformly spaced about the periphery of the end plates to ensure that the squirrel-cage assembly is dynamically balanced for rotation about the central pole. Bearing members are equidistantly spaced and rigidly mounted between the squirrel-cage assembly and the elongate pole for providing low rotational friction between the assembly and the pole and to further ensure dynamical balance of the assembly.

    Abstract: An improved case particularly adapted for the safe and efficient storage and transportation of hats and boots, and in particular western style or cawboy hats and boots, is comprised of a single case preferably having two separate storage compartments, each of which is accessed throguh a separate door. One such compartment is designed to securely hold a hat, particularly a western or cowboy style hat. To achieve this result, a circular insert is provided which receives the top part of the hat thereby holding the hat in a fixed position while a strap, extending horizontally across parallel vertical sides of the box assures that the hat will not be jostled or damaged during transport. The second compartment contains straps along both sides which are intended to be used for securing boots and particularly western or cowboy style boots. Cutouts in an inner plate supporting the two compartments which comprise the case help hold each boot securely in place.

    Abstract: Supply and take-up reels are mounted above a horizontal base for selective powered rotation about respective vertical axes. Vertical guide surfaces and a cover panel define an air tight continuous flowpath extending between the peripheries of the reels past a read/write head. A blower mounted in a hood structure beneath the base sucks air through the flowpath and through a perforated center spool of the take-up reel. A river of air thus pulls and guides the free end portion of the magnetic tape from the supply reel to the take-up reel as the supply reel is rotated by a drive motor to unwind the tape therefrom. The supply hub is adapted to automatically center the supply reel thereon. The supply hub further includes a plurality of annularly spaced reel engaging pawls mounted in, and normally retracted into the hub, and an over-center actuating means for selectively extending the pawls through differential rotation of a pair of separate rotors included in the hub.
