  • Patent number: 11907875
Abstract: A collaborative development project having a plurality of contributors is provided. A first contributor of the plurality of contributors as an influencer of the collaborative development project. Contributions of the influencer to a sample project are analyzed to determine a development characteristic of the influencer. One or more development rules are then generated based on the determined development characteristic of the influencer. Further, a second contributor of the plurality of contributors may be identified as a follower of the development project. Identified contributions of the follower may then be modified based on the obtained one or more development rules.

  • Patent number: 11899910
Abstract: Provided is a computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for multi-location copying and context-based pasting. A processor may collect a plurality of copied data elements into a clipboard manager. The processor may compare, in response to a paste function being initialized into an input field of a plurality of input fields, the copied data elements and associated metadata with contextual data associated with the plurality of input fields. The processor may calculate, based on the comparing, a data environment confidence value and an individual confidence value for each copied data element with respect to a level of matching the contextual data associated with the input fields. The processor may generate, based on the calculating, an overall confidence value for the copied data elements. The processor may compare the overall confidence value of the copied data elements to a set of confidence thresholds associated with completing the paste function.

  • Publication number: 20230105018
Abstract: Concepts for populating a data entry field with data are proposed. Specifically, by identifying a context of a data entry field of a target application and analyzing a dataset from source applications based on the identified context, the data entry field may be automatically populated with relevant data. In this way, data from source applications may be transferred to data entry fields of a target application without the need for a user to memorize (or otherwise manually transfer) the data. Accordingly, this decreases time consumed and frustration of the user, while reducing the rate of copying errors.

  • Patent number: 11240300
Abstract: Concepts for automatically generating a summary of a resource are presented. One example comprises analyzing at least a portion of electronic content comprising a reference to a resource to determine a context identifier for the electronic content, the context identifier describing subject-matter of the electronic content. Content of the resource is also analyzed to determine one or more content identifiers for the resource, the one or more content identifiers describing subject-matter of the resource. A summary of the resource is then generated based on the context identifier and the one or more content identifiers.

  • Patent number: 11093238
Abstract: Embodiments for collaborative software development project having a plurality of contributors is provided. One such embodiment comprises determining if the contributor of a newly provided contribution to program code of the collaborative software development project is a primary contributor. If it is determined that the contributor is the primary contributor, the program code of the collaborative software development project is analyzed to determine one or more software development rules. Program code of the collaborative software development project may then be modified based on the determined one or more software development rules.

  • Patent number: 11008173
Abstract: The bottom tier (24) of a conveyor belt (22) arranged in a spiral stack (26) is supported by and driven by inner and outer drive chains (28) and (30). The inner and outer drive chains are supported on and ride along support rails (32) and (34). The inner and outer drive chains are driven by a drive system (35) composed of inner and outer drive systems (36) and (38), each including a drive motor with a drive gear engaged with the inner and outer drive chains. Each of the motors is controlled by a separate variable frequency drive unit (114) and (116) which in turn are controlled by a control system (44). The control system (44) also controls the operation of a lubrication system (40) that supplies lubricant to the drive chains.

  • Patent number: 5299664
Abstract: A caliper-type brake assembly for a bicycle, comprising at least one pair of opposed, generally complementarily configured elongate brake arm levers. Each brake arm lever supports adjacent a first end a bearing surface and adjacent a second, opposite end a braking pad to be urged against a sidewall of a wheel rim to be braked. Pivotal support means supports each brake arm lever on the bicycle adjacent the wheel rim and is disposed between the first and second ends of each brake arm lever, causing each brake arm lever to function as a first class lever. At least one pair of complementarily configured crank arm levers each has a first arm, a second arm, and a pivotal support adjacent an end of the first arm. Brake actuating devices secured adjacent the end of the second arm of each crank arm lever pivots the crank arm levers simultaneously about their pivotal support.

  • Patent number: 5044301
Abstract: An apparatus for use on a flagpole with a central elongate pole, adapted for automatically unfurling and maintaining in an unfurled state a flag attached thereto comprises a squirrel-cage like assembly adapted for rotational mounting about the axis of the pole with first and second spaced end plates transverse to the axis and elongate members parallel to the axis and extending between the end plates. The elongate members are uniformly spaced about the periphery of the end plates to ensure that the squirrel-cage assembly is dynamically balanced for rotation about the central pole. Bearing members are equidistantly spaced and rigidly mounted between the squirrel-cage assembly and the elongate pole for providing low rotational friction between the assembly and the pole and to further ensure dynamical balance of the assembly.

  • Patent number: 4881637
Abstract: An improved case particularly adapted for the safe and efficient storage and transportation of hats and boots, and in particular western style or cawboy hats and boots, is comprised of a single case preferably having two separate storage compartments, each of which is accessed throguh a separate door. One such compartment is designed to securely hold a hat, particularly a western or cowboy style hat. To achieve this result, a circular insert is provided which receives the top part of the hat thereby holding the hat in a fixed position while a strap, extending horizontally across parallel vertical sides of the box assures that the hat will not be jostled or damaged during transport. The second compartment contains straps along both sides which are intended to be used for securing boots and particularly western or cowboy style boots. Cutouts in an inner plate supporting the two compartments which comprise the case help hold each boot securely in place.

  • Patent number: 4842391
Abstract: An optical coupling apparatus employing two spherical lenses between the optical signal source and the target. Each lens is positioned at its respective focal length from its associated optical element and is adjustable along a single axis. The lens adjustment axes are mutually perpendicular and both are perpendicular to the optical axis between the source and the target. The source may be a laser diode and the target is typically an optical fiber. This structure permits less than precise coaxial alignment between the source and target while maintaining desired optical coupling efficiency.
