    Abstract: A hollow rubber chamber filled with a fluid and equipped with a pressure gauge, the chamber being designed for placement over the sternum of a heart victim while giving external cardiac compression as a means for restoring heart action. As force is applied to the sternum through the hollow rubber chamber, the gauge registers the amount of pressure applied and thus aids in the optimum administration of the Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedure.
