  • Patent number: 11913623
Abstract: Improvements a portable elevated lighting system that uses LED lighting elements for illumination. The LED lights are selected based upon the light transmission angle so the fewest number of lighting elements are needed to provide an even flood or focus of light from the system. A reflector works as a heat sink to remove heat from the LED lights and extend the operation life of the LED's. Thermal paste and or a thermal pad is used between the LED lighting element and the frame to conduct sufficient heat away from the LED element. Two versions are shown as a stadium light and as a circular flood light that provides lighting without shadows or bright areas. The system can be operated from a generator or solar for charging batteries so the lighting can operate self-contained without producing noise.

  • Patent number: 9302465
Abstract: A dry cleaning apparatus, assembly and method provides for a dry flexographic plate cleaner apparatus that is configured as a unitary subassembly to be used within a printing press assembly. The cleaner apparatus and subassembly comprise a plurality of motorized drives such that, among other things, a cleaning roller can be moved towards and away from the rotating printing plate so as to achieve optimum spacing. This also allows the press operator to make adjustments to the cleaner apparatus and subassembly without having to stop the printing press assembly. The apparatus and subassembly is further removable from the printing press assembly as may be desired or required for service. Additionally, the apparatus, assembly and method of the present invention also provides for use of at least one controller for electronically controlling the apparatus in accordance with the method and implementing optimized cleaning capabilities and functionalities.

  • Publication number: 20040006525
Abstract: Systems and methods for selectively providing stock shares that entitle rights to use a property. A management entity oversees and selectively schedules use of the property according to individual stock shares. In one implementation, the use is the dividend provided to the stockholder. In another implementation the use schedule is created by receiving use requests from stockholders and scheduling use of the property according to which stockholder first requested the property for the scheduled use period. In another implementation, a lottery system is used to assign use dates or periods to the individual shareholders. In yet another implementation, preference to use dates/periods is made based on the number of stock shares or the type of stock shares (e.g., shares of a preferred stock) owned by the stockholder. Stock shares are exchanged at a public or electronic exchange.
