In a closed position of the upper housing part relative to the lower housing part the housing defines a first interstitial space for routing of associated fused wires. A protection member is releasably mounted to the lower housing part. The protection member together with the lower housing part define a separate second interstitial space within the first interstitial space for routing of an associated +B cable. To mount the protection member to the lower housing part one of the lower housing part and the protection member includes a projection and the other of the lower housing part and the protection member includes a groove for receiving the projection.

Abstract: A coupler for connecting a vehicle wire harness to a vehicle sensor comprises a body having a first end and a second end. The first end is operably connected to the vehicle sensor. The second end is adapted to connect with a first section of the vehicle wire harness. An assembly is associated with the body for attaching a second section of the vehicle wire harness, which is spaced from the first section of the wire harness, to the coupler. The assembly includes an attachment member which is rotatable at least partially about a longitudinal axis defined by the coupler body. The rotation of the attachment member relative to the coupler allows the second section of the vehicle wire harness to be properly positioned relative to the coupler and the vehicle sensor.

The base has fingers extending vertically upwardly for holding wire caps and connected electrical wires therein. A shelf protrudes from the inner surface of each finger to provide a platform for the bottom edge of the wire cap to seat against, securing the wire cap against downward movement. The sidewalls of the lid extend a predetermined distance below the shelves of the fingers to form a rim that creates a double air trap within the harness for preventing water from contacting the conductive portions of the wires.
