  • Patent number: 10060348
Abstract: Carbon dioxide is separated from natural gas using a single stage membrane separation system to produce a retentate gas that typically meets the specification for pipeline distribution of natural gas, and a permeate gas comprising methane that is combusted to generate power and/or heat, e.g. for use in providing the utility requirements of the process itself or for export to an integrated process. Advantages include an overall reduction in power consumption and improvement in process efficiency.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 25, 2014
Date of Patent: August 28, 2018
Assignee: Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.
Inventors: Jason Michael Ploeger, John Eugene Palamara, Jack Theodore Kindt

  • Patent number: 7300432
Abstract: A self-centering coupling device is provided for coupling a sensor array to a surgical instrument for use in computer guided surgery. The self-centering coupling device includes a sensor support having a stem and sensor support arms coupled to the stem to support the sensors of the sensor array. The self-centering coupling device is received within a recess formed in the surgical instrument.

  • Patent number: 4974908
Abstract: A brush is fabricated by forming a plurality of filaments into a tuft. The proximal ends of the filaments in the tuft are secured together to define a brush head. An elongated, substantially flexible tube having a longitudinally-extending passageway therethrough is inserted into a peripherally-interior portion of the tuft. The filaments which lie immediately adjacent the tube are then secured to the tube periphery along substantially the full length of the tube so as to positionally fix the tube within the filaments tuft and thereby define an integral and substantially flexible fluid distribution channel in the brush for feeding a flowable fluid through the brush from the brush head to the filaments proximate their distal ends for selective application of the fluid to a workpiece.
