    Abstract: There is disclosed a protective plate for a skateboard comprising a rigid base member having a mounting bracket thereon with a plurality of holes therethrough adapted to receive bolts from a skateboard wheel assembly for securing the mounting bracket between the wheel assembly and a skateboard body. The rigid base member has a cantilever frame which projects from the mounting bracket and is adapted to extend along and mechanically support and protect the end of the skateboard body adjacent the wheel assembly.
