  • Patent number: 12579158
Abstract: A method involves responding to a user query by inputting the query and its attributes into a generative model trained to produce multiple topic objects, each pairing a topic query with a topical search service. For each topic object within a selected subset, the method includes obtaining search results by issuing the topic query to the corresponding topical search service. Subsequently, a search result page is provided for the user query, featuring rich result listings that organize the respective search results for the topic objects in the subset. This approach enhances the relevance and depth of search results by leveraging the generative model's ability to associate user queries with specialized topical search services, thereby improving the user's search experience.

  • Publication number: 20250355782
Abstract: A process management system, method, and article are provided for generating and configuring aggregate span graphs to analyze process monitoring data. The process management system receives process monitoring data reporting on different instances of same and different processes. The process management system uses the process monitoring data to generate a structured object that identifies spans of processing time corresponding to processes involved in handling requests. The structured object includes, for each span: a unique identity of the span, a name of a process corresponding to the span, if the process was initiated by a parent, an identity of the parent, and a time during which the process ran. Using the structured object, the process management system generates a graph including sections. Each section represents spans having a process initiation path corresponding to the section and has a section width determined using an aggregate metric of spans in the section.

  • Publication number: 20240252345
Abstract: An example fluid collection assembly (100) includes a sheath (102) and a base (104). The sheath includes a fluid impermeable barrier (106) formed from at least a first panel (108) and a second panel (110). The first panel and the second panel at least partially define a chamber (112) therebetween. The fluid impermeable barrier also defines a fluid outlet (118) at a distal end of the sheath and an opening (114) at a proximal end of the sheath. The sheath also includes at least one porous material (122) disposed in the chamber. The base is permanently secured or configured to be permanently secured to the sheath. The base defines an aperture (124) that is aligned with the opening when the base is permanently attached to the sheath. The base is configured to be secured to a region about a penis of an individual with the aperture positioned over the penis.

  • Publication number: 20050288516
Abstract: A method of using an apparatus, device or devices, such as a convergent divergent funnel, as a mixer for the feed material, to optimize the available reaction volume (ARV), the raw material feed ratios (R1:R2) and the weight hourly space velocity (WHSV), to produce organic compounds, in a tube reactor. These organic compounds include, but are not limited to: acids, aldehydes, amides, esters, ethers and ketones, which are useful as chemical, agricultural and pharmaceutical intermediates, pharmaceuticals, agricultural agents, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, insect repellents, animal repellents, plasticizers, dye carriers and as flavor and/or fragrance ingredients.

  • Publication number: 20050248166
Abstract: A power assisted hand shovel includes a stationary blade that is configured to receive dirt and other material to be shoveled and to facilitate transport of the material away from the area being shoveled. A handle has a proximal end and a distal end which is attached to the stationary blade. A movable blade is disposed adjacent the stationary blade, and is configured to reciprocating linear motion relative to the stationary blade to impact the dirt and other material being shoveled. This facilitates receipt of the material by the stationary blade. An actuator is configured to cooperate with the movable blade to facilitate imparting a linear motion to the movable blade in at least one direction. This facilitates the impaction of the dirt and other material to be shoveled.

  • Patent number: 4080277
Abstract: An improvement for use in conjunction with the preventing of short circuits in one of a plurality of electrolytic cells and one of a plurality of horizontal mercury cells electrically connected in series with each cell having means for raising a plurality of anodes relative to the cathode and a plurality of anode buses. Switch means are associated with at least two of each plurality of anode buses for closing an electric circuit upon sensing a short circuit condition. The closing of the electric circuit results in the lighting of the lamp indicating which one of the plurality of anode buses the switch that has closed is associated with, a lamp for indicating which one of the plurality of cells the switch that has closed is associated with, and causes the raising of the plurality of anodes with which the switch that has closed is associated.
