Patent number: 9653673Abstract: A system includes at least one capacitor comprising a dielectric material having a Curie temperature, each capacitor exhibiting an increased capacitance at a temperature below the Curie temperature and exhibiting a decreased capacitance at a temperature above the Curie temperature, a liquid source positioned adjacent to the capacitor and having a temperature above the Curie temperature, and means for exposing the capacitor to the liquid source for a predetermined time so the temperature of the dielectric material exceeds the Curie temperature, at which point the capacitance decreases. A voltage storage is connected to the capacitors to capture the increased voltage discharged from the capacitors. The capacitors are then removed from the liquid source and cooled. Patent number: 9184675Abstract: A variable capacitor based electrical generator is described, using a detached conformal electrode that substantially conforms to surface irregularities of the exposed side of the dielectric. The conformal electrode increases the capacitance difference between a contacting state and non-contacting state. Consequently, by displacing the conformal electrode or dielectric, the capacitance can be significantly varied. By pre-charging the electrodes and by providing a displacement power source (wind, vibration, etc), power can be generated and converted into an electrical form. By networking or arranging a plurality of varactors, a significant power generator can be obtained. Qi is a Chinese word for the life energy that circulates in human beings. The device is a passive electronic device, that is, it is not powered by any battery or electrical supply. It does not come into contact with the user. The user places the device a few feet away. As such the device is totally safe in terms of dangerous electrical shocks or electromagnetic emissions. The device has a switch to turn it on or off. The switch connects together electronic components, including a piezo-crystal, inside the device. Ambient fluctuations in the voltage of the piezo-crystal may produce an influence field that is broadcasted to an approximately six foot radius surrounding the device. Patent number: 6591142Abstract: This invention pertains to a far-infrared (FIR) material that emits strongly in a narrowly defined wavelength range. Radiation of this particular wavelength range has been found to give a warming effect to the body, give therapeutic effects and to have sanitation effects in terms of the reduction of the bacterial count. This wavelength range is also the wavelength range that the body emits which is 8 to 13 microns and peaks at 10 to 11 microns. Most materials do not strongly emit radiation in this wavelength region. The material must fit two main criteria: (1) Emits in the 8 to 14 micron range. (2) Formable so that it can be made into practical therapeutic tools. A search found a material that meets the above two requirements. It emits strongly and exclusively in the range of 9 to 12 microns and it is formable.
