  • Publication number: 20240133465
Abstract: A shift actuator for a transmission includes a drive assembly coupled with a selector interface. A transmission selector operates between a plurality of transmission settings. A threaded actuator is rotationally operated by the drive assembly. A carriage linearly operates along the threaded actuator to define a plurality of actuator positions that correspond to the transmission settings. An actuator arm extends between the carriage and the transmission selector to translate linear operation of the carriage to rotational operation of the transmission selector.

  • Publication number: 20220176070
Abstract: A surgical instrument may include a multi-lumen catheter configured to be inserted within the tissue. The multi-lumen catheter may include a first lumen that may enable a flow of a fluid, a second lumen that may receive a navigation probe that may facilitate an ability to locate the region of interest within the tissue, and an expandable membrane that may be situated toward a distal end of the first lumen to form an expandable cavity. The expandable cavity may be configured to expand or contract based on the flow of the fluid through the first lumen. The surgical instrument may include a fluid line, coupled to the first lumen, that may supply the fluid to the first lumen to enable the expandable cavity to expand or withdraw the fluid from the first lumen to enable the expandable cavity to contract.

  • Publication number: 20140061054
Abstract: An anodizing color drawing method includes the steps of providing a metal workpiece; performing an anodic treatment of the metal workpiece to form a coating layer on a surface of the metal workpiece and a plurality of pores on the coating layer; using a plurality of electronic ink-jet nozzles to spray a plurality of dyes by a printing method and the dyes permeate into the pores of the coating layer, and forming a color drawing pattern on the coating layer; and performing a sealing treatment on the coating layer with the color drawing pattern. A color drawing layer processed by the anodic treatment has an enhanced hardness to reduce scratches and damages and maintain the aesthetic look.

  • Publication number: 20050202485
Abstract: This invention involves systematic identification of liver cancer biomarker protein panels which effectively distinguish serum samples from patients and normal individuals. It uses a combination of protein chip technology in conjunction with surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS) procedures. The analysis of serum samples of liver cancer patients and normal ones revealed significant differences among separate protein and peptide species examined and indicated either the presence or absence of liver cancer by a said pattern of biomarkers.

  • Publication number: 20050158745
Abstract: This invention involves systematic identification of nasopharyngeal carcinoma biomarker protein panels which effectively distinguish serum samples from patients and normal individuals. It uses a combination of protein chip technology in conjunction with surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS) procedures. The analysis of serum samples of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and normal ones revealed significant differences among separate protein and peptide species examined and indicated either the presence or absence of nasopharyngeal carcinoma by a said pattern of biomarkers.
