  • Patent number: 6991415
Abstract: A gravity grain diverter for use with a grain bin having an inlet opening for allowing grain to be introduced into the interior thereof. The gravity grain diverter includes a hopper for being positioned beneath the inlet opening of said grain bin. The hopper includes a tubular body member having an upper inlet opening for receiving grain loaded through the inlet opening of the grain bin and a lower outlet opening for discharging grain received in the upper inlet opening. The hopper means includes a lower outlet plate for closing the lower outlet opening of the tubular body member. Springs or the like are provided for urging the lower outlet plate toward the lower outlet opening of the tubular body member.

  • Patent number: 4902185
Abstract: A grain spreader for being mounted within a grain bin directly beneath the inlet opening in the roof structure of the grain bin for causing any grain introduced into the grain bin through the inlet opening to be evenly spread within the grain bin. The spreader includes a funnel positioned directly beneath the inlet opening for initially receiving the grain passing through inlet opening, a chute positioned directly beneath the funnel for receiving grain from the funnel, a motor for causing the chute to slowly rotate, and a deflector positioned beneath the chute for receiving grain from the chute as the chute rotates and for directing the grain radially outward and downward from the funnel.

  • Patent number: 4611965
Abstract: A gravity-feed grain spreader for being positioned within a grain bin beneath the inlet opening thereof. The grain spreader includes a first hopper for initially receiving grain being introduced into the grain bin through the inlet opening therein, a second hopper for receiving grain from the first hopper, and a plurality of chutes extending outwardly and downwardly from the second hopper in a spider-like manner for directing grain from the second hopper substantially evenly about the interior of the grain bin.
