  • Publication number: 20090011847
Abstract: A golf training device has an elongated body, including two closely-spaced elongated members moveable, relative to each other, along an axis parallel to the body, so the length of the body may be adjusted to accommodate different sized players. A protractor is attached to one end of the body. Once placed on the ground proximate a golf ball, so the longitudinal axis of the body is aligned with a target, and the protractor end is further from the target, the body provides a visual cue to a player of a path, along which the player should swing a golf club. Graduations, and optional moveable markers, on the body may be used to indicate proper placement of the ball and the player's feet, so the ball is located at the player's center of gravity. The protractor may provide a visual cue as to when the player should turn his/her wrist.
