  • Publication number: 20230280486
Abstract: Various embodiments include methods of compensating for signal loss due to depth-of-interaction (DOI) effects in radiation detectors, thereby improving detector efficiency. Various embodiments may include detecting the amplitude of a primary charge signal in a first pixel of an array of detector pixels in response to a photon interaction event, detecting the amplitude of a secondary charge signal in a second pixel of the array, where the amplitude of the secondary charge signal has an opposite polarity than the polarity of the primary charge signal, and generating a corrected photon energy measurement of the photon interaction event by applying a correction to the detected amplitude of the primary charge signal based on the detected amplitude of the secondary charge signal. Further embodiments include methods of improving detector efficiency by compensating for both depth-of-interaction (DOI) and charge sharing effects.

  • Publication number: 20230281333
Abstract: A consent block is a type of block that may be stored in a blockchain. Each consent block has an owner and may store an owner consent contract, i.e., a smart contract containing owner-specified access rules that determine who may access data assets that are stored in other blocks of the blockchain and owned by the same owner. The consent block may alternatively store a global consent contract containing global access rules that supersede owner-specified access rules. The consent block also stores a hash value determined from the consent contract and a previous hash value of the block immediately preceding the consent block. The consent contract and the position of the consent block in the blockchain are verifiable from the hash value. Each consent block, once added to the blockchain, becomes part of the immutable record of data stored in the blockchain, and therefore leaves an auditable trail.

  • Patent number: 11748554
Abstract: An online document system can allow users to track various amendments made over time and corresponding to an original document. The online document system accesses the original document comprising a plurality of content sections and a set of amendment documents each comprising one or more amendments to the original document. The online document system applies a machine-learned model to the original document and the set of amendment documents to identify, for each amendment, a content section of the plurality that corresponds to the amendment and a type of amendment corresponding to the amendment. The online document system generates an amended original document comprising the plurality of content sections modified to include each amendment. The online document system displays the amended original document by displaying each of the plurality of content sections and, in conjunction with each content section, any amendments corresponding to the content section are highlighted.

  • Patent number: 11746893
Abstract: A transmission is subject to thermal management to prevent damage or failure due to overheating. Sensors can be employed to capture characteristics of a transmission, such as fluid temperature or pressure. Further, a predictive model can be invoked to predict characteristics based on current and future conditions. Characteristics can be compared with a threshold for intervention. A thermal mitigation strategy can be generated and initiated when characteristics satisfy the threshold. The thermal mitigation strategy can specify various actions to dissipate heat, including altering shift control logic and triggering mechanical devices that can increase airflow, reduce air temperature, or both surrounding the transmission.
