    Abstract: A battery pack includes at least one battery cell having a first conductive tab and a second conductive tab, a protection circuit board electrically connected to the first and second conductive tabs, and a temperature sensitive element on the protection circuit board. The temperature sensitive element is adjacent, but electrically insulated from, a connection region where at least one of the first and second conductive tabs is connected to the protection circuit board, the connection region being between the temperature sensitive element and the battery cell.
