    Abstract: A method and apparatus for an electronic vanity display device (10) comprising a vanity display screen (30) that is affixed to the exterior of a commercially or privately owned method of ground transportation (50) for viewing text, graphics, and digital photographs. The electronic vanity display device (10) further comprises a display composition computer (20) used to create a composition of text, graphics, and digital photographs that is displayed using the exterior vanity display screen (30). The composed text and graphics can be edited and displayed at any time by the operator of the display composition computer (20). The vanity display device may display previously constructed compositions that are input from various electronic or optical storage media via the display composition computer (20).
