  • Publication number: 20080172261
Abstract: A response processing system captures a three-dimensional movement of the consumer within a consumer environment, wherein the three-dimensional movement is determined using at least one image capture device aimed at the consumer. The response processing system identifies at least one behavior of the consumer in response to at least one stimulus within the consumer environment from a three-dimensional object properties stream of the captured movement. A consumer interaction system detects whether the at least one behavior of the consumer indicates a type of response to the at least one stimulus requiring adjustment of the consumer environment. Responsive to detecting that the behavior of the consumer indicates a type of response to the at least one stimulus requiring adjustment of the consumer environment, the consumer interaction system generates a control signal to trigger at least one change of the at least one stimulus within the consumer environment.

  • Publication number: 20080170749
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and program includes a behavior processing system for capturing a three-dimensional movement of a user within a particular environment, wherein the three-dimensional movement is determined by using at least one image capture device aimed at the user. The behavior processing system identifies a three-dimensional object properties stream using the captured movement. The behavior processing system identifies a particular defined behavior of the user representing a particular behavioral signal from the three-dimensional object properties stream by comparing the identified three-dimensional object properties stream with multiple behavior definitions each representing a separate behavioral signal for directing control of at least one machine. In response to identifying the particular defined behavior, a machine control system generates a control signal triggered by the particular behavioral signal for directing control of the at least one machine.

  • Publication number: 20080170748
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and program product comprises a behavior processing system for capturing a three-dimensional movement of a user within a particular environment, wherein the three-dimensional movement is determined by using at least one image capture device aimed at the user. The behavior processing system identifies a three-dimensional object properties stream using the captured movement. The behavior processing system identifies a particular defined behavior of the user from the three-dimensional object properties stream by comparing the identified three-dimensional object properties stream with multiple behavior definitions each representing a separate behavioral signal for directing control of the document. A document control system selects at least one document element to represent the at least one particular defined behavior and inserts the selected document element into the document.

  • Publication number: 20080170118
Abstract: An object-enabled navigation system assists a vision-impaired user in navigating an environment. The system captures 3D movement of a moving object within the environment, wherein the three-dimensional movement is determined using at least one image capture device aimed at the moving object. The system predicts a mobile path of the visually-impaired user. The system determines whether the movement of the moving object will intersect with the mobile path of the vision-impaired user and informs the vision-impaired user whether the movement of the moving object will intersect the mobile path of the vision-impaired user.

  • Publication number: 20080169929
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and program includes a behavior processing system for capturing a three-dimensional movement of a monitored user within a particular environment monitored by a supervising user, wherein the three-dimensional movement is determined by using at least one image capture device aimed at the monitored user. The behavior processing system identifies a three-dimensional object properties stream using the captured movement. The behavior processing system identifies a particular defined adverse behavior of the monitored user represented by the three-dimensional object properties stream by comparing the identified three-dimensional object properties stream with multiple adverse behavior definitions.

  • Publication number: 20080059578
Abstract: A gesture-enabled electronic communication system informs users of gestures made by other users participating in a communication session. The system captures a three-dimensional movement of a first user from among the multiple users participating in an electronic communication session, wherein the three-dimensional movement is determined using at least one image capture device aimed at the first user. The system identifies a three-dimensional object properties stream using the captured movement and then identifies a particular electronic communication gesture representing the three-dimensional object properties stream by comparing the identified three-dimensional object properties stream with multiple electronic communication gesture definitions.
