  • Publication number: 20240149318
Abstract: Disclosed is a novel split header for use in a rolling mill. The split header has a mounting block and a quick-change header cartridge, wherein the mounting block is coupled to the quick-change header via a quick-disconnect feature, the quick-disconnect feature configured to enable uncoupling (in a toolless manner) of the quick-change header from the mounting block. Additionally, the quick-change header cartridge may be replaced by a dummy header cartridge that diverts water when stand is dummied, and a split base and header cartridge design. Further, the mounting block may have one or more sensors and the quick-change header may have an RFID tag, where the sensors and the RFID tag may communicate with a central computer.

  • Patent number: 11971598
Abstract: A communications panel includes a chassis receiving one or more tray arrangements that each support one or more cassettes. Each cassette carries a plurality of ports at which connections are made between front and rear plug connectors. Each tray arrangement includes guides along which the cassettes slidably mount. The guides and cassettes are configured to enable cassettes of various size to mount to the same tray without reconfiguring the guides.

  • Publication number: 20240126036
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a telecommunication device including an enclosure configured to be mounted to a telecommunication rack. The device also includes a tray that mounts within the enclosure, the tray being slidably movable relative to the enclosure along a front-to-rear axis between a first position and a second position. The tray is fully within the enclosure when in the first position. A forward portion of the tray projects forwardly from the front end of the enclosure and a rearward portion of the tray is within the enclosure when the tray is in the second position. A spool mounts on the tray and is moveable with the tray as the tray is moved between the first and second positions. The spool being rotatable relative to the tray and the enclosure to allow cable to be paid out from the spool at least when the tray is in the second position.

  • Publication number: 20240126038
Abstract: A panel system includes a chassis holding one or more tray arrangements, which are each configured to receive one or more cassettes at two or more bays. The tray arrangements and cassettes cooperate to define a cassette sensor arrangement and a port occupancy sensor arrangement having separate interface points. The cassette sensor arrangement may include electronic memory storing physical layer information about the cassette. All active components of the port occupancy sensor arrangement are disposed on the tray while the electronic memories of the cassette sensor arrangement are stored on the cassettes.

  • Publication number: 20240125378
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for a gearbox lockout device. It may be desirable in certain vehicles to lock a drive shaft within a gearbox for a period of time. Lockout embodiments under the present disclosure include a shaft configured to selectively engage the drive shaft via teeth. An inner and outer collar surrounding the shaft can be manipulated to restrict the movement of the shaft once the shaft's teeth are engaged with the teeth of the drive shaft. The system can be torqued up and locked in place. This can allow for more safe transporting of the vehicle, easier maintenance, or other advantages.

  • Patent number: 11681101
Abstract: A splice module includes a main splicing channel and a rework channel. The main splicing channel has an encapsulated section at which one or more initial splices can be stored. The main splicing channel also includes a non-encapsulated section through which trunk cable fibers of the initial splices extend. If re-splicing is needed, the trunk cable fibers can be accessed at the non-encapsulated section, cut, and re-spliced to a new connectorized pigtail or other optical fibers.
