  • Publication number: 20240317506
Abstract: A system and apparatus for a medication container sorting apparatus by air sort station is disclosed. The container sorting apparatus includes a transport mechanism, a bumper rail, an air nozzle, a valve, and a sensor. As medication containers pass by an air nozzle on the transport mechanism, the air nozzle blows air towards the containers to push those with a closed end facing the air nozzle towards an opposite side of the transport mechanism. A bumper rail is used to prevent the medication container from falling off of the transport mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20240317439
Abstract: A system and apparatus for a medication container orientation funnel is disclosed. The orientation funnel includes an entrance section, a mid-section, and an exit port. The entrance section allows for two independent paths of motion for horizontally-oriented medication containers to route. The mid-section of the orientation funnel rotates the medication containers to a vertical position. The medication containers then exit the orientation funnel through an exit port.

  • Publication number: 20240317508
Abstract: A system and apparatus for a medication container sorting apparatus is disclosed. The container sorting apparatus includes a belt support, a transport mechanism, a cleated belt, and a cam belt with cam-driven probes. The cam-driven probes travel along the cam belt and an accompanying cam track. The cam track varies in distance from the cleated belt so as the cam-driven probes are driven upward along the cam belt, the probes are extended and retracted along the length of the cleated belt causing medication containers located on the cleated belt to be pushed to different locations on the cleated belt depending on the orientation of the medication container.

  • Publication number: 20240317507
Abstract: A system and apparatus for a medication container singulator apparatus is disclosed. The container singulator apparatus includes a main frame, a belt support, a cleated belt, a ramp, a divider, and a push plate. As medication containers are routed upward along the cleated belt, the push plate pushes medication containers towards one end of the cleated belt. The divider knocks off medication containers lying perpendicular to the cleated belt. The ramp pushes medication containers hanging off of the cleated belt off. At the top end of the container singulator apparatus, medication containers are limited to one per cleat and are pushed to one side of the cleated belt.

  • Publication number: 20240320763
Abstract: A system and apparatus for a medication container queue apparatus is disclosed. The container queue apparatus includes a drive shaft, at least two queue cylinders, a switch tube, a hold actuator, and a stop actuator. The medication containers enter through the switch tube which is configured to route the medication containers to a queue cylinder. Once the queue cylinder fills, the switch tube rotates to the entrance of another queue cylinder and provides an entrance for the medication containers to fill a second queue cylinder. The container queue apparatus also includes hold actuators and stop actuators which may suspend the travel of the medication containers temporarily.

  • Publication number: 20230313944
Abstract: A device for securing a workpiece for manipulation where the device contains a first member section, a second member section removably attached to the first member section and, at least one flexible extension arm removably and adjustably attached to at least the first member section, wherein the at least one flexible extension arm comprises a work tool removably attached to a distal end of the at least one flexible extension arm.

  • Patent number: 10989341
Abstract: Quick connect fluid connectors with modular connection state sensors removably or detachably mounted thereon. Each modular connection state sensor is configured to sense a connection state of the fluid connector it is mounted on. The connection state sensor indicates that the fluid connector of the first fluid system is connected to the second fluid system prior to initiating fluid flow between the first and second fluid systems. The connection state sensor senses movements of one or more elements of the quick connect fluid connector that is involved in the actual connection of the fluid connector to the second fluid system. The elements that are sensed can be, for example, one or more cylindrical sleeves of the fluid connector or a piston of the fluid connector. Therefore, the connection state of the fluid connectors can be determined accurately.
