  • Publication number: 20140359411
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for the collection of content, such as webpage content, and for detection of changes in content. Files composing a document at a different time periods may be accessed and sets of hash values corresponding to files composing the document at the different periods may be calculated. A determination is made as to whether a file in the identified files at the different time periods is an HTML file, and if so an additional hash value corresponding to the HTML file is calculated. Aggregated hash values may be calculated based on hash values in the sets of hash values. A report may be generated reporting hash values for the document as it exists at the different time periods, including the hash values for the files composing the document, the additional hash values for respective HTML files, and the aggregated hash values. Changes in hash values may be indicated.

  • Publication number: 20140175024
Abstract: A water treatment and conveyance apparatus that has a barrel with two ends, each with an indentation to accommodate a handle made of a heavy-duty material, two side members, a transverse grip member and two transverse support members that fit securely into the indentations of the barrel ends. One end of the barrel (the top) has at least one hole accommodating a removable cap, a removable inlet filter of mesh to screen out particles from entering water, and a removable outlet filter. In use, the handle is attached to both ends of the barrel in the indentations and the barrel is rolled and pulled to a water source and back to the puller's abode. After filling the barrel, a cleansing chemical such as a chlorine tablet is added to the water to help sterilize the water in transit.

  • Patent number: 8658351
Abstract: The present invention provides various biomarkers for hepatotoxicity and various methods of using the biomarkers Some of the biomarkers within the scope of this invention are cholate, glycochenodeoxycholate, glycocholate, taurine, 3-hyroxy-2-ethylpropionate, 4-imidazoleacetate, tyramine, anthranilate, 2?-deoxycytidine, N-acetyl aspartate (NAA), beta-hydroxy-hexanoate, and sarcosine (N-methylglycine) The methods of using the biomarkers include exposing a first hepatocyte culture to a test agent and comparing the levels of the one or more biomarkers obtained in the first hepatocyte culture to the levels of the one or more biomarkers obtained in a second hepatocyte culture without the test agent, where differential levels of the one or more biomarkers in the first hepatocyte culture as compared to the levels in the second hepatocyte culture is indicative of the test agent being a hepatotoxicant.

  • Publication number: 20130298583
Abstract: A method of regulating thermal dissipation from a vehicle battery pack is provided in which a by-pass valve is used to control the amount of battery pack coolant either passing through, or by-passing, a heat exchanger, where the coolant passing through the heat exchanger is cooled by a refrigeration system. The vehicle's HVAC system is controlled to insure that HVAC operation does not compromise maintaining the battery pack within an acceptable range of temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20120110499
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for virtualizing data in a user interface (UI). A virtual layout viewport is identified which comprises an area that may be viewed in a UI, where at least some data from one or more tuples of data is to be realized in the viewable area of the UI. Data that is to be realized in the viewport is identified from the one or more tuples of data, and the identified data is realized in the viewport, such as by creating a representation of the data for display in the UI. The realized data can be virtualized by removing the representation when the virtual layout viewport is modified in relation to a display of tuple data (e.g., an item is scrolled out of view).

  • Patent number: 7785057
Abstract: A grapple attachment is equipped with driven rollers for selectively turning a wrapped round module about its axis so as to position it for having the wrapping slit at the bottom side of the module. When the module is properly located for having the wrapping slit, a powered cutting blade is caused to move into engagement with the wrapping and slit it across the length of the module. An interlock is provided for preventing operation of the grapple cylinders and driven roller motors unless the cutting blade assembly is located in a standby position wherein it is removed from a zone normally occupied by the round module when the latter is supported by the fixed and moveable grapple sections of the grapple attachment.

  • Publication number: 20100109407
Abstract: Dental devices with cylinders, trunnions, and limit switches, and a method are provided. The dental devices include a cylinder and a trunnion having a cavity and an outer surface. A portion of the cylinder is slidably mounted within the cavity of the trunnion, and a portion of the cylinder protrudes out of the trunnion. The limit switch is coupled to the outer surface of the trunnion, with the limit switch is operable to contact the cylinder. Separation of the limit switch and the cylinder causes actuation of the limit switch, and the actuation of the limit switch inhibits a downward movement of the device. Alternatively, the limit switch may be coupled to the portion of the cylinder that protrudes out of the trunnion, with the limit switch operable to contact the trunnion. As such, separation of the limit switch and the trunnion causes actuation of the limit switch.

  • Publication number: 20070294237
Abstract: A computer implemented method, data processing system, and computer program product for enabling enterprise-wide queries by linking configuration management databases (CMDBs) together. A query and unique query key to access data stored in a CMDB is received. The query is processed against data internal to the CMDB. If the information is found from the query of the CMDB, the query results are sent to the requesting user. If the query does not produce any information from the CMDB, one or more infrastructure discovery tools registered with the CMDB are used to discover one or more compatible CMDBs in the enterprise. A communications link is established between the infrastructure discovery tools registered with the CMDB and the infrastructure discovery tools registered with the one or more compatible CMDBs. The query and the unique query key are then passed to the one or more compatible CMDBs via the communications link.

  • Patent number: 3955478
Abstract: The improved hydraulically actuated percussion drill described hereinafter is designed to reciprocate a striker piston contained therein regardless of whether or not the striker piston engages the drill steel whereby vibration can be imparted to the drill. The drill includes an overtravel portion that cooperates with the striker piston to prevent metal-to-metal contact of the striker piston with the housing during operation. Means are provided to prevent the loss of fluid from the overtravel chamber whereby the striker piston will be returned to the upper end of its stroke and will not become stalled in the overtravel chamber.
