  • Publication number: 20250043910
Abstract: An extendable grip for a mobile device includes a base configured to couple with a mobile device or a case of the mobile device. The plurality of elastic elements are coupled with the base at a first end. The plurality of elastic elements are coupled with a top at a second end. The plurality of elastic elements are configured to provide an expansion force that biases the top away from the base towards a neutral position when in the collapsed position. The base and the top are configured to produce a magnetic force that biases the top and the base towards one another. The extendable grip has the neutral position and a collapsed position. A distance between the top and the base is greater in the neutral position than in the collapsed position. The magnetic force is stronger than the expansion force in the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 12062922
Abstract: A method provides a mobile device positioned in a case. The mobile device has a wireless power transmitter. The case has a magnetically attractive portion. A mobile accessory having a magnetic coupling portion and a wireless power receiver is provided. The mobile accessory includes a functional component. The accessory is coupled with the case such that the wireless power transmitter of the mobile device is positioned to transfer wireless power to the wireless power receiver of the accessory. Power is wirelessly transmitted from the mobile device to the accessory. The functional component of the accessory is activated while power is transferred wirelessly.

  • Publication number: 20240249378
Abstract: A system for capturing, organizing, and storing handwritten notes includes a plurality of boundary markers. The boundary markers are configured to be positioned on a writing surface. The system also includes a tangible non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with instructions which, when run on a camera-equipped computing device, causes the camera-equipped computing device to execute processes. The processes include capturing an image of the writing surface with the markers thereon. The processes also include detecting the boundary markers in the captured image. Additionally, the processes include identifying a virtual boundary in the captured image based on the positions of the boundary markers. The processes then unwarp a portion of the captured image within the virtual boundary to produce an unwarped image.

  • Publication number: 20240227429
Abstract: A method of reusing a notebook provides a notebook having a synthetic-paper page. The method also provides a thermochromic ink pen which, when used to write on the synthetic paper page, leaves thermochromic ink markings. The method further provides a moisture carrier configured to have a liquid diffused therein. The moisture carrier is configured to erase the thermochromic ink markings from the synthetic-paper page by contacting the thermochromic ink markings when the moisture carrier is moist. The method then writes with thermochromic ink on at least a portion of the synthetic-paper page. Liquid is diffused in the moisture carrier, and the portion of the synthetic-paper page having the thermochromic ink is wiped with the moist moisture carrier, such that the thermochromic ink is erased from the synthetic-paper page.

  • Publication number: 20220197500
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments of the system allow users to write handwritten notes, such as to-do items and calendar events, and have them converted into online objects and actions by a handwriting parser engine. The handwriting is processed and converted into commands that execute online actions or create online objects, which can be local to a device (e.g., creating a calendar entry in a calendar program) or can involve actions using or taken over a communication system (e.g., creating a calendar entry in an online calendar, making a purchase from an online service, transmitting a text or email message, etc.).
