  • Publication number: 20240266682
Abstract: A multi-cell rechargeable energy storage system has battery cells disposed in an enclosure, and arranged in cell modules. Collectors are arranged to electrically connect the battery cells arranged in the cell modules. An electric power bus is arranged in a spine, and terminates at positive and negative terminals. First busbars, a second busbar, and end collectors electrically connect the cell modules in series between the positive terminal and the second terminal. Cell monitoring controllers are arranged to monitor the cell modules. A potting compound is arranged to encapsulate only an upper portion of the battery cells. A thermal management system including first and second fluidic manifolds are fluidly coupled to longitudinal heat exchange plates to thermally couple to the battery cells.

  • Publication number: 20220224136
Abstract: A portable electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) includes a first line and a second line, a current sensor, a microcontroller, and at least one protective relay. The current sensor is connected to monitor at least one of the first line or the second line and a current module is connected to sample the monitored current. The microcontroller is configured to detect arc faults in the first line and/or the second line based on the sampled current and to selectively open the protective relay in response to a detected arc fault.

  • Publication number: 20220178480
Abstract: The invention is a device for releasing and disconnecting a fitting body off of a pipe, which is held with a gripping ring that holds the pipe in fixed position inside the fitting body. Particularly, the device is integrated into valves for disconnecting domestic valves installed over pipes, which are fixed to and extending out of walls. The essential parts of the device are a nut, a pushing sleeve matching into the nut and one or more spiral tracks that couple with bump(s)/ball(s) on the surfaces of the nut and sleeve. This coupling enables radial movement of the nut in a defined spiral forward direction over the fitting body and pushes the sleeve into the fitting body for releasing the pipe off of the gripping ring.
