  • Patent number: 11017357
Abstract: A mobile device storage and tracking system includes a mobile device storage unit having a housing and a plurality of storage spaces. Responsive to a user input that is indicative of a particular user, a control positions a respective storage space at a door, whereby the user can store a mobile device at that respective storage space. After the user stores the mobile device at that respective storage space, the door is closed. When that user again provides the user input, the control positions the respective storage space at the door and the user can access the mobile device at that respective storage space. The control monitors and records, for each particular user during a work shift, the amount of time that the particular user's mobile device is at the storage space and the amount of time that the particular user's mobile device has been removed from the storage space.

  • Patent number: 10650352
Abstract: A mobile device storage and tracking system includes a housing and a carousel disposed in the housing and having a plurality of storage spaces. Responsive to a user input that is indicative of a particular user, a control rotates the carousel to position a selected storage space at a door and unlocks the door, whereby the particular user can store a mobile device at that selected storage space. After the user stores the mobile device at that selected storage space, the control closes and locks the door. When the particular user again provides the user input, the control unlocks the door and rotates the carousel to position the selected storage space at the door. The control is operable to track, for each particular user, when the particular user's mobile device is at the carousel and when the particular user's mobile device has been removed from the carousel.

  • Patent number: 9159982
Abstract: A battery system includes a plurality of electrochemical cells each having at least one terminal and a plurality of members coupled together to form a frame for securing the electrochemical cells in place. At least one of the members has openings configured to receive the terminals of the plurality of cells and also has features for spacing apart the plurality of cells to facilitate the flow of a cooling fluid between the cells. The battery system further includes a battery management system provided at a first end of the frame and a device provided at a second end of the frame for providing the cooling fluid to the cells and to the battery management system simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20100159317
Abstract: A battery module for use in an electric vehicle includes a housing and a member provided within the housing that contains a plurality of electrochemical cells. The member includes apertures in an outer surface of the member that allow a thermal management fluid to exit the member after passing adjacent outer surfaces of the plurality of the electrochemical cells within the member. The apertures include apertures of a first size near a first end of the member and apertures of a second size larger than the first size near a second opposite end of the member.
