A channel may extend along a longitudinal axis of the anchor body. The insert may be configured to translate longitudinally within the channel between the proximal end of the anchor body and the distal surface of the suture passage. There may also be provided a surgical broach adapted for use with the suture anchor system.

The housing shaft is axially translatable, and the inserter fork is axially translatable, via the housing shaft, between a distal position and a proximal position.
