  • Patent number: 11937698
Abstract: A bedding foundation has a linear actuator for moving a roller carriage forward and backwards. The roller carriage includes wheels which move along rails supported below a rigid platform having an opening extending through the platform. The roller carriage includes a lifter which raises and lowers a roller independently of the movement of the linear actuator. Regardless of the position of the linear actuator, the roller may be raised or lowered. The roller moves back and forth inside the opening extending through the rigid platform and imparts a massage movement to a mattress above the foundation.

  • Patent number: 11930933
Abstract: An adjustable bed base has a subframe assembly including a subframe which may be inclined relative to a stationary frame by a primary linear actuator. An articulating deck is attached to the subframe. Secondary linear actuators articulate the deck. The subframe assembly is pivotally secured to a portion of the stationary frame. The subframe may be inclined by extending the primary linear actuator which moves ramps, causing wheels attached to the subframe to ride upwardly along the ramps, thereby raising the head end of the subframe relative to the stationary frame.

  • Patent number: 11751695
Abstract: A bedding product such as an adjustable bed comprises a stationary frame which is inclined regardless of the position of the adjustable bed. The stationary frame is supported by multiple leg assemblies of different heights. Due to wedges sandwiched between the leg assemblies and mounting brackets of the stationary frame, the leg assemblies remain flat on the ground providing a stable support for the bedding product. Each leg assembly is secured to one of the mounting brackets.

  • Patent number: 10448748
Abstract: A mechanism for securing a mattress on a bed foundation is provided. More particularly, the invention relates to a folding mattress-retention mechanism that may compactly fold or be easily removed during shipping or storage. The folding mattress-retention mechanism includes a mattress-support structure, a first hinged attachment, and a second hinged attachment. The mattress-support structure includes a first and second end and may abut a side of a mattress atop a bed foundation. The first and second hinged attachments are coupled to the mattress-support structure at the respective first and second ends and may either affix or removably attach the folding mattress-retention mechanism to the foot, head, or sides of a bed foundation. Further, the hinged attachments may allow for movement, and the folding mattress-retention mechanism may move into and between an operable first position and a stowed second position.

  • Publication number: 20190290012
Abstract: A mattress-retention system is provided that maintains a mattress in place on an adjustable bed base. The base has a decking with sections that articulate to move the mattress into any of a variety of support positions. The decking is typically covered with a fabric. A pattern of micro-hook strips is coupled to the fabric, facing outwardly towards the mattress. The pattern of micro-hook strips may be contained within only one section, but may also be contained in other sections, or may cross-over multiple sections. This pattern of micro-hook strips interacts with the mattress to retain it in place.

  • Patent number: 9930970
Abstract: An adjustable bed is provided. The adjustable bed can include an outer support perimeter that provides structural support to various components of the adjustable bed. The outer support perimeter can include a plurality of panels, where two panels can be coupled together by a panel connecting member which can be received inside a void of both panels. The panel connecting member can be secured to the two panels using one or more fasteners in such a manner that the fasteners are not visible on the outside surface of the outer support perimeter. The adjustable bed can include a storage compartment positioned beneath a foot segment of a mattress support member. The storage compartment can be accessed by pivoting the foot segment of the mattress support member up and away from the adjustable bed.
