  • Patent number: 11593309
Abstract: Embodiments include a method for fault tolerance in the delivery of event information within a file system cluster. One or more processors to determine event information associated with file system activity performed by a node of the cluster. The one or more processors add the event information to an event log buffer in memory. The one or more processors receive a first log sequence number (LSN) associated with flushing of recovery information from a recovery log buffer. The one or more processors determine the event information in the event log buffer having a log sequence number less than or equal to the first log sequence number, and determining the event information includes log sequence numbers less than or equal to the first log sequence number, the one or more processors flush the corresponding event information from the event log buffer to disk storage.

  • Publication number: 20220184462
Abstract: A basketball that comprises a carcass and a cover assembly. The carcass includes a plurality of recess disposed between a plurality of grooves. The cover assembly includes a plurality of cover panels positioned within the recesses. Each of the plurality of grooves comprises a central channel. The central channel is defined by a bottom wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall. The first and second side walls are substantially planar. The central channel defines a channel depth of between about 3 mm and about 4 mm, and each of the plurality of grooves defines a ridge distance of between about 10 mm and about 12 mm.

  • Publication number: 20150326701
Abstract: This disclosure is directed at an electronic device for hotel rooms which performs a number of functions currently performed by several different devices in hotel rooms, such as clocks, phones, thermostats, and sound systems, as well as a number of functions not performed by current devices. The goal of the device is to eliminate the need for a number of discrete devices while providing a device which performs these same tasks better, through integration of features and network functionality.

  • Publication number: 20150170448
Abstract: A system for hotel and residential properties to allow guests and residents security access using electronic devices already in the possession of the user. The system would allow hotel and residential properties to provide guests and residents with an inexpensive near field communication (NFC) tag to affix to their mobile device. Such an NFC tag could be registered by the hotel front desk upon check-in, or at the first reader the guest encounters at the hotel, in conjunction with their mobile device. Additionally, the system allows for the use of peer-to-peer (P2P) NFC to create a secure connection and allow data transfer between a NFC enabled door lock and a mobile device, allowing for an encrypted door code to be used.
