  • Publication number: 20250116556
Abstract: A temperature probe insert includes a coupling portion, a first arm extending from the coupling portion, and a second arm extending from the coupling portion. The first arm and the second arm extend from different sides of the coupling portion. The coupling portion includes an aperture that extends through the coupling portion. The first arm and the second arm are configured to contact a storage bag shell and prevent movement of the coupling portion in the opening in the storage bag shell. The aperture is configured to direct a temperature probe into a storage bag disposed in the internal volume of the storage bag shell. A storage bag temperature monitoring assembly includes a temperature probe insert and a storage bag shell. A kit includes a temperature probe insert and a temperature probe.

  • Patent number: 12256912
Abstract: A harvesting assembly for harvesting a tissue graft from surrounding tissue is disclosed including a guide. The guide includes a means for fixedly engaging with an anterior surface of the tendon. The guide also includes a means of guiding a cutting blade along a preferred trajectory into and along a length of the tendon. The guide also includes a means of guiding a truncating blade along a preferred trajectory across a width of tendon. The cutting blade may include two parallel blades for forming lateral sides of the tendon graft simultaneously. Each of the two parallel blades may define a leading edge that extends along at least a 90 degree arc that is equidistant from a stop on the cutting blade. The stop in combination with the guide may limit a cut depth into the tendon for a range of cutting blade handle elevation angles.

  • Publication number: 20240174411
Abstract: A fitment for a bag includes an integrally formed spike port, the spike port including an aperture, a puncture barrier film and an internal gasket. The fitment can be a fluoropolymer. The puncture barrier can be a fluoropolymer film. The internal gasket is positioned within the aperture and provides an additional puncture barrier to the spike port. The fitment can be incorporated into a bag by joining two sheets such as fluoropolymer sheets to one another and to the fitment around a perimeter of the sheets. The bag can be used in processes including exposure to or holding at cryogenic temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20240116686
Abstract: A storage container that includes a housing having a bottom surface, two side walls, a front wall, and a back wall that form an interior space in the housing. The storage container also includes a lid configured to enclose the interior space. The two side walls of the housing include a rim portion and the lid includes a rail portion configured to provide a non-destructive and deformable locking and unlocking engagement with the rim portion. The back wall of the housing includes a first segment and a second segment, the second segment being separated a distance longitudinally from the first segment and connected to the first segment by a secondary bottom surface such that the second section of the interior space has a greater volume than the first section of the interior space.

  • Publication number: 20230213129
Abstract: An aseptic coupling assembly, includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a first housing, a first valve member, and a first spring that biases the first valve member towards the second end of the first housing to a first closed position. The second connector includes a second housing, a second valve member, and a second spring that biases the second valve member towards the second end of the second housing to a second closed position. The first valve member is slidable away from the first closed position within the first housing to compress the first spring and the second valve member is slidable away from the second closed position within the second housing to compress the second spring. The coupling assembly further includes a seal that prevents fluid from contacting the first spring and the second spring.

  • Publication number: 20220233302
Abstract: Methods and devices for tissue graft fixation include fixation devices attached to an adjustable fixation loop of suture without compromising the graft or requiring additional material to complete the repair. Other fixation devices are attachable to an independent adjustable suture system. Adjustable fixation loops minimize slip/creep of the suture within the loop.
