  • Publication number: 20230390837
Abstract: A power tool used to perform a coping cut including a main housing, a motor disposed within the main housing, a drive shaft driven by the motor about a rotational axis, a handle extending from the main housing, and an abrasive disc coupled to and driven by the drive shaft about the rotational axis. The motor is an outer rotor brushless direct current motor capable of rotating at 4,000 surface feet per minute at 1.5 inch-pounds of torque.

  • Publication number: 20230373067
Abstract: A power tool includes a housing, a motor positioned within the housing, an impulse assembly coupled to the motor to receive torque therefrom, the impulse assembly including a cylinder at least partially forming a chamber containing a hydraulic fluid, an anvil positioned at least partially within the chamber, and a hammer positioned at least partially within the chamber and engageable with the anvil for transferring rotational impacts to the anvil, the hammer including a through hole, and a valve configured to control flow of the hydraulic fluid through the through hole.

  • Publication number: 20230356309
Abstract: The disclosure provides a miter saw that includes a base, a table, a cutting assembly, and a linkage assembly. The table defines a supporting surface and is rotatably coupled to the base to rotate about a miter axis. The cutting assembly includes a housing that supports a motor to which a saw blade is rotatably coupled, and a handle that extends from the housing. The cutting assembly is pivotable between raised and lowered positions and is movable relative to the table between forward and rearward positions. The linkage assembly is pivotally coupled to the table and the cutting assembly. The linkage assembly includes a floating link, a first link, and a second link. The floating link is pivotally coupled to the cutting assembly. The first link is pivotally coupled to the table and the floating link. The second link is pivotally coupled to the table and to the floating link.
