  • Publication number: 20240167043
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a transgenic plant cell comprising polynucleotide sequences encoding glycolate dehydrogenase, malate synthase, and an inhibitory polynucleotide targeting an endogenous glycolate transporter Plgg1, wherein expression of endogenous glycolate transporter Plgg1 in the transgenic plant cell is about 20% to 80% of expression of endogenous glycolate transporter Plgg1 in a plant cell that is not transformed with an inhibitory polynucleotide targeting an endogenous glycolate transporter Plgg1. Also disclosed are transgenic plants, transgenic plant cultures, and methods for increasing photosynthesis efficiency in plants. The disclosed methods enhance biomass productivity and reduce the negative impact of photorespiration and introduction of transgenic constructs on plant growth.

  • Patent number: 11925147
Abstract: The landscaping tarpaulin is a collection device. The landscaping tarpaulin is configured for use in the collection of debris from the ground. The debris is placed on the landscaping tarpaulin. The landscaping tarpaulin forms a containment structure used to transport the debris for disposal. The landscaping tarpaulin comprises a tarpaulin structure, a plurality of magnets, a plurality of zippers, and a plurality of kick steps. The plurality of magnets, the plurality of zippers, and the plurality of kick steps attach to the tarpaulin structure. The plurality of magnets secure the corners of the tarpaulin structure together to form the containment structure of the tarpaulin structure. The plurality of zippers enclose the tarpaulin structure into a bag like containment structure. The plurality of kick steps form foot holds used to hold the tarpaulin structure in a fixed position as the debris is loaded onto the tarpaulin structure.

  • Publication number: 20230150585
Abstract: A bedslide assembly for use on a deck bed of a pickup truck is provided. An illustrative example of the bedslide assembly includes a bottom frame assembly, middle frame assembly, and top frame assembly. The bottom frame assembly includes a first latch bracket and a second latch bracket. The middle frame assembly includes a first latch assembly and a second latch assembly. The first latch assembly includes a hook. The second latch assembly also includes a hook. The top frame assembly includes an end plate. The hook of the first latch assembly is selectively engageable with the first latch bracket of the bottom frame assembly. The hook of the second latch assembly is selectively engageable with the end plate of the top frame assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220409452
Abstract: A ramp assembly to accommodate a wheel-chaired passenger to enter or to exit a passenger vehicle. The ramp assembly includes a frame having a drive assembly and a ramp subassembly slidably coupled to the frame. The ramp subassembly includes a ramp and a side rail extending along a side of the ramp. A ramp linkage is pivotally coupled to the ramp subassembly. A wheel is coupled to the ramp linkage, wherein rotation of the wheel adjusts a position of the ramp linkage to move the ramp from a lowered position to an inclined position. The ramp subassembly further includes a rail bracket, pivotally connected to the ramp linkage, and a slide bar, located adjacent to the rail bracket. The slide bar is configured to slide along the rail bracket, wherein sliding movement of the slide bar raises and lowers the side rail.

  • Publication number: 20070200001
Abstract: Method and apparatus for applying unique composite indicia or markings to a succession of articles, in which each unique composite indicium comprises two or more indicia. At least part of each of the indicia may be co-located at a predetermined location on the article with such co-location being unique or distinct for each composite indicium for each article. The indicium may be overprinted with one or more images, logos or color-schemes. A code (e.g. an alphanumeric string) that is stored in a database may be derived from the composite indicium from one or more mathematical properties. The code may be later accessed for identifying or verifying the article with the indicium.
