The method provides regio- and/or stereospecific addition of hydrogen, deuterium, tritium and a variety of other substituents to arenes, heteroarenes, and alicyclic compounds that have multiple carbon-carbon double bonds, thereby providing discrete isotopologues and stereoisotopomers of cyclic and heterocyclic alkenes and dienes with high isotopic purity and in high enantiomeric excess. Also described are isotopologues and stereoisotopomers of cyclic and heterocyclic alkenes and dienes, such as isotopologues and stereoisotopomers of cyclohexene and tetrahydropyridine, as well as products thereof, such as isotopologues and stereoisotopomers of piperidines and piperidine-containing compounds, such as methylphenidate. In addition, a method of determining the absolute configuration of stereoisotopomers of cyclohexenes is described.

Abstract: Debris filtration and strainer systems for a fluid handling device are provided herein. The strainer systems can include one or more of a strainer basket, a removable insert, and an adapter for removably engaging the removable insert with the strainer basket. The removable insert includes a liner having a plurality of openings that are the same size as, or smaller than, the openings of a the strainer basket, and which is inserted into the strainer basket to capture debris from water passing therethrough, preventing clogging of the strainer basket and reducing the frequency of cleanings of the strainer basket. The liner can be fabricated from a biodegradable material, and thus can be easily removed, disposed of, and replaced. The removable insert can include a rigid connection tab with one or more features for removably engaging the strainer basket and/or an adapter positioned between the strainer basket and the removable insert.

A user computing device may send a service arrangement system a service request describing a payload to be transported. The user computing device may receive from the service arrangement system, a service confirmation message describing a stopping location for a user to meet an autonomous vehicle and autonomous vehicle data describing the autonomous vehicle. The user computing device may also receive a first wireless signal from a first wireless beacon and determine a first location of the user computing device using the first wireless signal. The user computing device may display at a display of the user computing device, a direction from the first location of the user computing device to the stopping location.

Abstract: Controlling flow of gas in an gas pipeline network, wherein flow of gas within each of the pipeline segments is associated with a direction (positive or negative). Processors calculate minimum and maximum production rates (bounds) at the gas production plant to satisfy an energy consumption constraint over a period of time. The production rate bounds are used to calculate minimum and maximum signed flow rates (bounds) for each pipeline segment. A nonlinear pressure drop relationship is linearized to create a linear pressure drop model for each pipeline segment. A network flow solution is calculated, using the linear pressure drop model, comprising flow rates for each pipeline segment to satisfy demand constraints and pressures for each of a plurality of network nodes over the period of time to satisfy pressure constraints. The network flow solution is associated with control element setpoints used to control one or more control elements.

Abutting pairs of planar occlusal faces on the maxilla and mandibular retainers allow lateral and anterioral sliding against each other. A ball engagement couples the retainers to the retention straps at opposing distal ends.
