When the cap is attached to the pill bottle, the container is positioned in the interior space of the pill bottle. The cap may be safely secured to the pill bottle thus also safely securing the device within the interior of the pill bottle.

Abstract: A method of adjusting port parameters. A source device establishes an initial output voltage swing and an emphasis level for output signals from a display port interface as a result of executing a link training process with a target device. A processor determines that a prescribed temperature threshold has been exceeded by a source device temperature. The output voltage swing and emphasis levels are set to different output voltage swing and emphasis levels as a consequence of determining that the prescribed temperature threshold has been exceeded.

Abstract: A method and a system for locking an electronic device are provided. In one aspect, a method in an electronic device is provided comprising the steps of receiving, through a user input interface of the device when the device is in a locked state, a challenge response and a temporary automatic lock time indicator, and if the challenge response is accepted, unlocking the device, setting an automatic lock timer of the device to a temporary lock time value, and starting the automatic lock timer. In another aspect, an electronic device is provided for implementing the above method. According to another aspect, a locking mechanism is provided that utilizes information on an environment of the electronic device. According to another aspect, a stimulus based locking mechanism is provided that employs a different lock time after the device has issued a stimulus in response to an event on the device.

Abstract: A dock for receiving a portable electronic device. The dock includes a housing comprising an aperture in a recess for receiving and supporting the portable electronic device, and a communication assembly disposed in the housing and moveable relative to the housing. The communication assembly includes a dock optical transceiver disposed in the aperture for aligning with a device optical transceiver when the portable electronic device is disposed in the recess, and magnets coupled to the optical transceiver for aligning with complementary magnets of the portable electronic device to facilitate engagement and disengagement of the portable electronic device with the dock and to facilitate alignment of the dock optical transceiver with the device optical transceiver when the portable electronic device is engaged with the dock.

Abstract: A process for analyzing contact attributes relating to a contact of a user of an electronic device and providing an actionable item based on the analyzing including providing an electronic device including control circuitry, a memory and a user interface; operating the control circuitry to obtain from the memory and analyze a plurality of contact attributes and to generate an actionable item from the analysis, in which the actionable item is a function of one or more of the plurality of contact attributes, and relates to non-schedule-based relationship between one or more of the plurality of contact attributes and current characteristics of the user, provide to a user interface cognizable signals based on the actionable item, and enable the user to take action based on the actionable item. Abstract: Mobile phone users can subscribe to a notification for new content by creating a profile of user preferences on the operator or manufacturer's website on a server. When new content matching the profile becomes available, the server will send to the mobile phone a WAP push message containing a link to the content. The user can access and download the new content by pressing a dedicated key on the mobile phone and following the link in the WAP push message.

Abstract: Determination of a closed or open status of a mobile communication device, having a cover that may be in hinged or in slidable engagement with the device body housing, is made by sensing an input from the device microphone. The cover and housing form an acoustical seal when the device is closed. In accordance with the sensed input of the microphone the device controller can detect whether the cover is in a closed or open state with respect to the housing. An off-hook telephone status can then be set when the open state is detected on the basis of the microphone input and the telephone display activated.
