Patent number: 11935634Abstract: A system for predicting and summarizing medical events from electronic health records includes a computer memory storing aggregated electronic health records from a multitude of patients of diverse age, health conditions, and demographics including medications, laboratory values, diagnoses, vital signs, and medical notes. The aggregated electronic health records are converted into a single standardized data structure format and ordered arrangement per patient, e.g., into a chronological order. A computer (or computer system) executes one or more deep learning models trained on the aggregated health records to predict one or more future clinical events and summarize pertinent past medical events related to the predicted events on an input electronic health record of a patient having the standardized data structure format and ordered into a chronological order.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2017Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Alexander Mossin, Alvin Rajkomar, Eyal Oren, James Wilson, James Wexler, Patrik Sundberg, Andrew Dai, Yingwei Cui, Gregory Corrado, Hector Yee, Jacob Marcus, Jeffrey Dean, Benjamin Irvine, Kai Chen, Kun Zhang, Michaela Hardt, Xiaomi Sun, Nissan Hajaj, Peter Junteng Liu, Quoc Le, Xiaobing Liu, Yi Zhang

Publication number: 20220090440Abstract: An automatic door bottom to seal a gap between a door bottom and a door sill and includes a drop bar assembly with a seal element is held in a channel mounted on a door. The automatic door bottom also includes a spring-loaded, slidable pushrod assembly which, upon closure of the door, forces the seal element out of the channel and into contact with the door sill. Upon door opening, the slidable pushrod assembly is released and retracts the seal element back into the channel. Further included within the channel is an intumescent material also communicating with the drop bar assembly, where, when exposed to heat or high temperature, forcefully expands within the channel to force the seal element out of the channel and into sealable contact with the door sill, thereby preventing fire expansion through a gap around the door.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2020Publication date: March 24, 2022Inventor: Jacob Wexler

Patent number: 10407978Abstract: A flood barrier shield system for installation in a building opening such as a door frame includes a water impervious panel having a base edge and at least two side edges generally complementary in shape to the base and side edges of the opening into which it is to be installed. Channel shaped seal housings are mounted on the panels adjacent its base and side edges which contain seal bars including a relatively rigid bar having a flexible seal mounted thereon and extending the length of the housing. The seal is located to face the opposing surface of the opening and the bar is connected to the housing by selectively operable devices which move the bar and seal between retracted and extended positions for ease of positioning the flood barrier in the opening and then forming a water tight seal along the base and sides of the system.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2017Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Schlage Lock Company LLCInventor: Jacob Wexler

Publication number: 20170193595Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for electronically guaranteeing rent payment are provided. An exemplary method includes electronically receiving, by a payment program platform, monetary funds to be deposited in a payment card account hosted by the payment program platform and designating at least a portion of the received monetary funds as allocated rent payment funds in accordance to a rent payment policy. The method further includes electronically providing the allocated rent payment funds to a rent payment management server (RPMS) for storage and electronically releasing, by the RPMS, an accumulated amount of monetary funds that includes the allocated rent payment funds to a landlord entity in accordance to the rent payment policy.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 31, 2015Publication date: July 6, 2017Inventors: Andres Guillermo Lopez, Juan Carlos Leonardo Wiley Garcia, John Anthony Gioacchini, Bryan Jacob Wexler, Stephen Anthony Parento

Publication number: 20170185976Abstract: A computer system can be configured to execute an electronic payment infrastructure. In some examples, the system includes one or more computers, a rotating savings and credit association (ROSCA) establisher, and a ROSCA manager. The ROSCA establisher is configured for receiving, from a communications network, one or more establishment messages specifying user identifiers and storing, in a database, an electronic payment record for each user identifier. The ROSCA manager is configured for collecting, at each collection time specified by schedule data, an incoming payment for each user identifier using the electronic payment records stored in the database and providing, at each distribution time specified by the schedule data, an outgoing payment for a selected user identifier using the electronic payment record associated with the selected user identifier in the database. The outgoing payment is based on a sum of the incoming payments for the user identifiers.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2015Publication date: June 29, 2017Inventors: Andres Guillermo Lopez, Juan Carlos Leonardo Wiley Garcia, John Anthony Gioacchini, Bryan Jacob Wexler, Stephen Anthony Parento

Publication number: 20170185977Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for electronically guaranteeing payment of bills are provided. An exemplary method is performed at a utility payment management server (UPMS) that includes at least one processor. The method includes receiving, via a communications network, payment information including a payment card number or an account number communicated from a computing platform. The method further includes receiving, from the computing platform, an indication of a monetary amount required to pay one or more bills, or portions thereof. The method further includes electronically allocating the monetary amount required to pay the one or more bills by placing a temporary lien on funds associated with the payment card number or the account number and electronically releasing the monetary amount to one or more providers according to a predetermined schedule as communicated by the computing platform.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2015Publication date: June 29, 2017Inventors: Andres Guillermo Lopez, Juan Carlos Leonardo Wiley Garcia, John Anthony Gioacchini, Bryan Jacob Wexler, Stephen Anthony Parento

Publication number: 20170185979Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for providing electronic alternatives to cash on delivery (COD) acceptance of tendered goods/services are disclosed. In some aspects, the method can be performed at a clearing management server (CMS) that includes at least one processor. The CMS is configured to receive, via a communications network, an authorization request from an acquiring entity for authorizing a purchase transaction for a good/service. The authorization request can include at least a merchant identifier, a customer identifier, and a transaction amount used for authenticating the purchase. The method further includes receiving an authorization response from an issuing entity, receiving and storing a clearing record associated with the purchase transaction, receiving confirmation that the good/service is delivered to a customer at a delivery time, and processing the clearing record at the delivery time such that settlement occurs at the delivery time.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2015Publication date: June 29, 2017Inventors: Andres Guillermo Lopez, Stephen Anthony Parento, Juan Carlos Leonardo Wiley Garcia, John Anthony Gioacchini, Bryan Jacob Wexler
