  • Patent number: 11551862
Abstract: An electric field-reducing insulating layer is described for an inductive coil. In some examples, a first coil having at least one first winding is arranged for being driven at a first voltage. A solid insulating layer is adjacent the first coil and has a first surface facing the first coil. The first surface of the solid insulating layer has a first groove between the first winding and the insulating layer, having a width that is smaller than a diameter of the electrical wire. The first groove forms a pocket between the first winding and the solid insulating layer.

  • Patent number: 9384880
Abstract: A magnetic positioning device is provided that includes a first cup-shape permanent magnet having at least one permanent magnet segment conforming to the first cup-shape, where the first cup-shape permanent magnet has a first polarity, a second cup-shape permanent magnet that includes at least one permanent magnet segment conforming to the second cup-shape, where the second cup-shape permanent magnet segment has a second polarity, where the second cup-shape permanent magnet is disposed concentric to the first cup-shape permanent magnet, where the first polarity is the opposite of the second polarity or the first polarity is the same as the second polarity, where a gap separates the first cup-shape permanent magnet from the second cup-shape permanent magnet, and a connection feature, where the connection feature is disposed on the second cup-shape permanent magnet, where the connection feature is configured to connect a lever arm to the second cup-shape permanent magnet.

  • Publication number: 20140285034
Abstract: An integrated electromagnetic energy conversions device is provided that includes a synchronous or brushless linear (SoBL) motor, and a transformer, where the transformer is integrated electromagnetically and topologically with the SoBL motor, where an electromagnetic field orientation of the transformer is perpendicular to an electromagnetic field orientation of the SoBL motor, where a magnetic-field decoupling between the SoBL motor and the transformer is provided and a position independent magnetic coupling of the transformer is provided, where the integrated SoBL motor and the transformer operate simultaneously in a motor and transformer mode.

  • Patent number: 8283794
Abstract: The invention concerns a floor suitable for generating, converting and/or storing energy, wherein this energy can be generated, converted and/or stored by placing and/or displacing mass thereon, wherein the floor can comprise discrete modules (2), each with an own energy generation system. The discrete modules (2) are couplable in different configurations and form a floor which may or may not be continuous.
