  • Publication number: 20150300598
Abstract: A reflector for reflecting light emitted by an LED light source and a method of forming the same are provided. The reflector has a unitary silicone body having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The unitary silicone body has an inner surface extending between the first and second ends. The inner surface defines a first aperture at the first end for receiving the LED light source. The inner surface defines a second aperture at the second end for permitting light emitted from the LED light source to escape the unitary silicone body. The inner surface has a maximum inner diameter between the first and second ends. The inner surface has an inner diameter at the second end that is less than the maximum inner diameter.

  • Patent number: 7299219
Abstract: A system for maximal gathering of fresh information added to a network such as the as the Internet and for processing the gathered fresh information. A link server (2) sends a batch of links to check (3) to a crawler (1B). Crawler (1B) them executes its crawling assignment by filtering the encountered content and extracting only that which is new or changed (4). Crawler (1B) then returns this content (4) to at least one data center and any interested web mining application (5). By using the crawlers (1A-E) to filter the data and only return or notify regarding, the fresh content, less bandwidth is needed to get the information to the web mining application (5).

  • Publication number: 20070145043
Abstract: A microwave heating system utilizes a microwave energy generator to provide microwave energy through wave guides to targets. The targets are microwave absorbers and thereby increasing temperature upon the contact of microwave energy. The heated targets then transfer heat to an area to be heated such as by conduction, convection or radiation depending on the particular embodiment. A sensor in the area to be heated provides an input to a controller for controlling the input of microwave energy to be directed to the target.

  • Patent number: 6266890
Abstract: An assembly for accurately and easily drilling holes at a desired angle relative to a work piece. The assembly includes a housing having a rotatable drill guide therein. The drill guide includes a tang extending out from a side of the housing so that it can be manually rotated to position the drill guide in a desired orientation. Angular markings are provided on the side of the housing to align with a groove on the tang. The drill guide is biased towards an insert guide to create an opening whose size is adjustable for receiving drill bits of varying sizes.

  • Patent number: 6095366
Abstract: The global warming cover is a general purpose cooking utensil cover which is designed to capture and reuse radiated heat. The cover has an outer curved flange which overhangs the side of the pot, and reflects, recycles, reutilizes and directs heat back toward the utensil during everyday cooking processes. The cover of the present invention is a one-size-fits-all type since the amount of overhang over the side of the pot or vessel has little effect on its efficiency in recirculating the heat. The global warming cover of the present invention may be used on the consumers' present pots or vessels, regardless of diameter differences.
