  • Publication number: 20210347703
Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing phosphate fertilizer that comprises dicalcium phosphate, the method comprising providing milled phosphorus-containing rock having a total phosphorus content of at least about 15% P by weight, mixing the milled phosphate-containing rock with a mineral acid in a reaction vessel to produce a superphosphate product, and mixing the superphosphate product with a calcium-source reverting agent and a magnesium-source reverting agent to produce a reverted product, the calcium-source reverting agent comprising at least about 20% by weight of the total reverting agent of calcium oxide with a calcium carbonate equivalence of at least about 134%, and the magnesium-source reverting agent providing a magnesium source and comprising at least about 20% by weight of the total reverting agent of magnesium source with a calcium carbonate equivalence of at least about 80%, to produce a granulated cured reverted product having a product yield of at least about 1.90 or of at least about 1.

  • Publication number: 20210335536
Abstract: A Method of reducing leakage magnetic flux for a shell-type transformer or inductor is disclosed. The magnetic flux density is reduced between flux transitional areas and corner losses are reduced. Advantageous, the method may also help to reduce the operational temperature of the transformer or inductor (of any size) during normal use. The centre of the ferromagnetic core is cooled. The effective outside area of the core is enlarged. The transformer core is organized to have any number of cooling holes (400.3.1), (400.3.2) without reducing the area for magnetic flux to circulate around the core. Several embodiments are disclosed. Various improvements may be made without departing from the methods and principals disclosed in this patent.

  • Patent number: 10911371
Abstract: A control-plane component of a network-accessible service receives an indication that a resource request has been submitted by a client. The component determines, based at least in part on metadata associated with the client, that a first parameter selection policy (PSP) of one or more PSPs created for the service is applicable. The first PSP includes a condition set to determine applicability, and a value set indicating parameter values to be used to fulfill resource requests to which the PSP applies. Using the value set, an effective parameter value list for one or more operations to be performed to allocate the requested resource is generated, and the allocation operations are initiated.

  • Patent number: 10698767
Abstract: A service workflow agent associated with a particular service of a provider network identifies a repository in which workflow descriptors indicative of tasks to be performed by the service are stored. In response to determining that a modification has been applied at one such repository, the agent examines a particular workflow descriptor stored in the repository. The agent initiates an attempt to implement a first task indicated in the descriptor. Subsequently, the agent updates the descriptor in accordance with an optimistic concurrency control technique to indicate a status of the first task.

  • Publication number: 20080205195
Abstract: This invention relates to signal processing and to acoustics. The invention provides a method of amplitude modulating a message signal (12) in the audible frequency range of a human onto a carrier signal (14) in the ultrasonic frequency range, the method including generating an amplitude modulated signal (20.1) having a constant envelope on one side (72). The invention extends also to a method of amplitude modulating a message signal (12) in the audible frequency range of a human onto a carrier signal (14) in the ultrasonic frequency range, the method including generating an amplitude modulated signal (20.2) having a constant level (33) defined successively by an upper and lower envelope of the amplitude modulated signal (20.2). The invention also extends to related amplitude modulators (10) and (110) and also to a related acoustic system (50).
