  • Publication number: 20180034902
Abstract: A content delivery system includes a cache server, a domain name server, and a redirector. The domain name server is configured to receive a request for a cache server address, and provide an IPv6 anycast address. The redirector is configured to receive a content request addressed to the IPv6 anycast address from a client system, receive load information from the cache server, and determine if the cache server is available. The redirector is further configured to forward the content request to the cache server when the cache server is available. The cache server is configured to receive the content request forwarded from the redirectors, send a response to the content request to a client system, the response including an IPv6 unicast address of the cache server as a source address, an IPv6 unicast address of the client system as a destination address, and the IPv6 anycast address as a home address, and provide the content to the requestor.

  • Publication number: 20180011186
Abstract: A radar assembly includes a hollow drum and an antenna holding structure located inside the hollow drum so that the hollow drum can rotate around the antenna holding structure. An antenna is connected to the antenna holding structure and located inside the hollow drum so that the hollow drum can rotate around the antenna. The antenna holding structure is connected to a base frame and to which the hollow drum is connected via at least one axle so that the hollow drum can rotate around the antenna holding structure while the antenna holding structure and antenna remain stationary. A handle is connected to the base frame so that a user can direct the antenna towards a surface of interest which is to be radiated and can then roll the hollow drum over the surface while maintaining the antenna in a user selected orientation.

  • Publication number: 20160353345
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to migrate a mobile device from a first virtual private mobile network to a second virtual private mobile network are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a processor and a memory including instructions that cause the processor to perform operations including determining, based on a set of latency routing rules, that a communication transmitted via the first virtual private mobile network is a latency sensitive communication. In response to determining the communication is a latency sensitive communication, the mobile device that originated the latency sensitive communication is identified. The mobile device is communicating via the first virtual private mobile network. Example operations also include migrating the mobile device from the first virtual private mobile network to the second virtual private mobile network wherein the second virtual private mobile network is configured to reduce the latency of the latency sensitive communication.

  • Publication number: 20160308837
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to configure virtual private mobile networks are disclosed. Example methods include provisioning a virtual private mobile network within a wireless network, and, after provisioning the virtual private mobile network, determining whether a first communication from a user equipment matches a security event profile. When the first communication matches the profile, the example methods include transmitting, from the wireless network via a first base transceiver station, an instruction to cause the user equipment to be communicatively coupled to the virtual private mobile network. The example methods further include instructing the user equipment to transmit a second communication through a second base transceiver station that is physically separate from the first base transceiver station and through the virtual private mobile network. In the example methods, the virtual private mobile network is isolated in a wireless spectrum from other portions of the network.

  • Patent number: 9250319
Abstract: A floodlight radar system includes a transmitter arranged to generate output waveforms at first and second centre frequencies, and at least one transmit antenna configured to illuminate a search volume constantly at the first and second centre frequencies. A sparse array of receive antennas is arranged in a common plane and configured to monitor the search volume constantly. The system includes a receive circuit arranged to extract target position information from return signals received by each antenna, and a signal processor circuit which is arranged to resolve ambiguity in the position information using a known relationship between calculated Doppler spectra, wavelengths and phase differences at the first and second frequencies, to calculate azimuth, elevation, range and velocity of a target identified in the search volume. The system is able to rapidly detect and locate multiple fast moving targets in three dimensions.

  • Patent number: 9106584
Abstract: An aspect of the disclosed technology is a general-purpose platform that may be used to provide resilient cloud services. Tasks may be written as procedures in general-purpose programming languages that directly manipulate resources via control interfaces. In one implementation, resource states, such as router configurations and virtual machine states, associated with a cloud customer that provides communications services, may be abstracted into tables in a relational or semi-structured database. State changes that have been written to the database tables are automatically propagated by the database to appropriate customer physical devices, such as network elements, thereby implementing various customer network operations.
