  • Patent number: 11491492
Abstract: A separation apparatus and method for separating ore is provided. The separation apparatus (10) includes a separation chamber (12) and is configured to be utilised with a fluid pulsing mechanism (32) for operatively pulsating a fluid through ore deposited in the chamber resulting in the migration of generally lighter ore particles toward an upper region (25) of the chamber and for generally heavier particles to migrate toward a bottom region (14) of the chamber (12). The ore is deposited by means of a chute (38) in the bottom region (14) of the chamber (12) and the lighter ore particles may then be extracted from the chamber through a first chamber outlet (24) while the heavier particles may be extracted through a second chamber outlet (28).

  • Publication number: 20070224438
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for coating a substrate, comprising the steps of: a) Applying a layer comprising a melamine-formaldehyde resin A to a substrate, whereby a coated substrate is formed; b) Optionally treating the coated substrate with IR- or NIR-radiation; c) Optionally applying an ink, dye solution or pigment dispersion to the coated substrate; d) Optionally applying a layer comprising a melamine-formaldehyde resin B to the coated substrate from step b) or c); e) Placing the coated substrate in a press; f) Optionally heating the coated substrate in the press for a certain amount of time; g) Increasing the pressure in the press and keeping the coated substrate under pressure for a certain amount of time. The invention further relates to a coated substrate as obtainable by the said method, and its use in a post-forming process.

  • Publication number: 20030144428
Abstract: A polymer composition in solid form contains hydrogenated units of a polymer composed of diene monomer units and nitrile group containing monomer units. The hydrogenated polymer has an &agr;/&bgr; peak ratio >1, measured by 1H-NMR. The a peak is measured between 2.05 and 2.2 ppm. The &bgr; peak is measured between 1.8 and 2.05 ppm. The polymer composition has a gel content of less than 15 wt. % and a molecular weight distribution (of its soluble part) of less than 10. The polymer compositions may be used to form articles, such as automotive parts, which are less sensitive to oxidation degradation.

  • Patent number: 6552132
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the hydrogenation of a polymer composed of diene monomer units and nitrile group containing monomer units in which crosslinks formed as a result of the hydrogenation are broken by adding, before, during or after the hydrogenation, a compound that satisfies the formula R1—N(H)—X (I) or (R1)(R2)C═N—Y (II), where R1 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl or cycloalkyl group with 1-30 carbon atoms, or an aromatic group with 6-30 carbon atoms and R2 is an alkyl or cycloalkyl group with 1-30 carbon atoms, or an aromatic group with 6-30 carbon atoms, X is chosen from the group comprising —R3, —OR4, —SR4, —NR5R6, where R3, R4 and R5 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl or cycloalkyl group with 1-30 carbon atoms or an aromatic group with 6-30 carbon atoms and R6 is an alkyl or cycloalkyl group with 1-30 carbon atoms or an aromatic group with 6-30 carbon atoms Y is chosen from the group comprising —R7, —OR8, —SR8, —NR9R10 an
