  • Publication number: 20060013792
Abstract: Disclosed is a solid water-in-oil emulsion comprising an aqueous phase emulsified with at least one emulsifying surfactant in a fatty phase comprising at least one ester oil and at least one wax, wherein the at least one ester oil is present in an amount greater than the at least one wax and wherein the emulsion has, after at least one month at 37° C., a hardness wherein the penetration force is greater than or equal to 45 g. Also disclosed is a non-therapeutic cosmetic process for making up or caring for the skin, comprising the application to the skin of a composition comprising said emulsion.

  • Publication number: 20040265346
Abstract: A water-in-oil solid emulsion comprising an aqueous phase emulsified with at least one emulsifying surfactant, wherein said at least one emulsifying surfactant is in a fatty phase comprising at least one oil, at least one wax, and at least one block copolymer comprising at least one first monomeric unit chosen from ethylene oxide and propylene oxide units and at least one second monomeric unit chosen from alkylene oxide units comprising from 6 to 40 carbon atoms, wherein the at least one block copolymer has a weight-average molecular weight ranging from 5000 g/mol to 8000 g/mol and the emulsion has a hardness such that the penetration force is greater than or equal to 40 g. Also disclosed herein is the use of this emulsion for making up and/or caring for the skin.
