Abstract: A travel article has an interior pocket that permits the insertion and/or removal of one or more items in the pocket from only the inside of the travel article. The travel article provides a window to allow any items inside of the pocket to be seen on the outside of the travel article. The travel article can be, for example, luggage, totes, toiletry kits, brief cases, duffels, backpacks, sling packs, business cases, business or craft organizers. The provision of such a pocket can allow a user to personalize the bag and can also facilitate bag identification.

Abstract: An article of upright rolling luggage with wheels is provided having one or more adjustable feet for stabilizing the luggage case in the upright position. The luggage case includes one or more wheels rotatably mounted to a portion of the luggage case substantially at a rear edge of a bottom wall of the luggage case. One or more bases extend from the bottom wall and have at least one portion spaced apart from the wheel. One or more feet are movably mounted to the base where the foot is movable from a first position substantially adjacent to the bottom wall to a second position extending away from the bottom wall. A locking mechanism is provided which allows the foot to be held in the first position and manually rotated and automatically looked into the second position. Upon depressing a release mechanism, the foot is unlocked and automatically rotated from the second position into the first position.

Abstract: A handle system for a rolling luggage case can include a luggage case in which one or more articles can be stored and having a top, bottom, front, and back panels, and a pair of sidewalls. The luggage case can include a wheel assembly provided at a location on the bottom panel and adjacent to the back panel; at least one telescoping member that is extensible from a retracted position within the luggage case to an extended position protruding from the luggage case; and a gear assembly that is attached to an end of the telescoping member(s) that is distal from the luggage case. The handle system can include a handle attached to the telescoping member(s) through the gear assembly. The gear assembly can provide pivotal and rotational movement of the handle about the end of the telescoping member(s).

Abstract: Laptop computer carrying case of a generally parallelepiped form for transporting laptop computers of small and oversized dimensions. The carrying/case includes a front panel, a rear panel spaced apart and opposed from the front panel and a pair of side panels attached to the front and rear panels along corresponding side edges of the front and rear panels. A base panel is attached to the front, rear and side panels. A cover flap is attached to the case and is adjustably latched to the case. One or more side straps protect oversized computers from damage.

Abstract: A handle system for removable attachment to an existing handle of a rolling luggage case. The system includes a grasping bar that has a gripping area ergonomically formed for grasping, and a releasable securement structure coupled to the grasping bar. The releasable securement structure is configured for releasably securing the grasping bar to the existing handle of the rolling luggage case at an end thereof distal from the luggage case. A locking mechanism is provided that is operatively associated with the releasable securement structure for locking the grasping bar in two or more pivot positions relative to the existing handle of the rolling luggage.

Abstract: A handle system for a rolling luggage case, including a telescoping post members extensible from a retracted position within a luggage case to an extended position protruding from the luggage case, a cross member extending between adjacent end portions of the telescoping post members, and a handle pivotally mounted to the cross member. A post cap member is attached on an end of the telescoping post member that is distal from the luggage case. The post cap member includes a cylindrical bearing surface to which a handle is pivotally mounted. The cylindrical bearing surface includes a pin reception aperture disposed on a circumference of the cylindrical bearing surface. The cylindrical bearing surface and the pin can be fabricated from a rigid structural material, such as metal.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a travel case having a deployable and retractable tray table assembly mounted to the back of the housing. The tray table is hinged to an extension member slidably disposed in a pocket within the compartment. The tray table is stowed within and completely contained by the compartment when not deployed. By unzipping the compartment and sliding the tray table and extension member upwardly, the tray table can be pivoted upwardly to a support position. In the support position, the tray table can rest upon the top of the case and the extension member can be locked in place so that it cannot slide downward. The compartment can be closed up around the extension member when the tray table is deployed.

Abstract: A computer tote convertible from a hand-carried attache case to a shoulder-carried backpack. As an attache case, the computer tote may be carried by retractable handles and a convertible compartment houses a shoulder harness and a backpack compartment in a small, compact manner. The convertible compartment can be opened so that the harness and backpack compartment can be unfolded. The backpack compartment expands the size of the case so as to allow additional items to be carried therein, and the shoulder harness facilitator carrying the expanded tote on a user's back. The computer case has numerous other interior and exterior zippered compartments including a computer compartment. The computer compartment is sized for securely containing a portable computer and is lined with padded board for protecting the computer.

Abstract: A wheel unit for an article of luggage equipped with wheels to facilitate translation of the luggage along the ground. The wheel unit includes a wheel housing connected to the luggage, and a wheel support and a wheel rotatably but removably connected to the wheel housing, the wheel support being mounted to the wheel housing in such a way that it is easily removable. The wheel may be quickly and easily replaced when damaged without disassembly of any other part of the luggage article.

Abstract: A portable luggage carrying case having a detachable carry tote portion capable of housing a lap-top computer, and various computer accessories. The detachable carry tote is joined to the main portion of the luggage enclosure via a zipper situated around the periphery of the main portion and the carry tote. Once separated from the main portion, the carry tote, comprised of an upper and a lower section joined together along its adjacent edges via material along the inner-facing surface of each section, can be folded, and a securing zipper used to secure the upper and lower portions to each other in a face-to-face configuration. The carry tote, with lap-top computer stored within one of its zippered pouches, can now be utilized separately and independently from the main portion of the luggage enclosure.
