Abstract: A light clip having a top surface including a transparent material, at least one side surface including transparent material and a clip located opposite the top surface. A lighting circuit is included in the light clip, preferably having at least one lamp. Alternatively, a base unit for insertion in a binder including at least a top surface having transparent material and a lighting circuit included in said base unit is provided. This lighting circuit also preferably includes at least one lamp. Rotatable lights may be used in either the light clip or the binder light. Additionally, variously shaped clips may be used for the light clip.
