  • Patent number: 11961259
Abstract: The calibration system of the farming machine receives images from each camera of the camera array. The images comprise visual information representing a view of a portion of an area surrounding the farming machine. To calibrate a pair of cameras including a first camera and second camera, the calibration system determines a relative pose between the pair of cameras by extracting relative position and orientation characteristics from visual information in both an image received from the first camera and an image received from the second camera. The calibration system identifies a calibration error for the pair of cameras based on a comparison of the relative pose with an expected pose between the first pair of cameras. The calibration system transmits a notification to an operator of the farming machine that describes the calibration error and instructions for remedying the calibration error.

  • Publication number: 20240008668
Abstract: The modular bed linen hanger and storage system enables one to store and easily transport multiple bed linen items. These items can include sheets, blanks, bedspreads, and pillow cases. This hanger and storage system has multiple panel sections having front and back surfaces. Openings through these panel surfaces allow for inserting items through these openings. After partial insertion of an item, the item can rest in that panel section until needed. Multiple openings in the multiple panel sections enable this hanger storage system to hold and store many bed linen items simultaneously. Rollers attached to the bottom of this hanger and storage system allow more accessible transport of the system when desired. Further, foldable and detachable panel sections enable one to vary the length of the hanger. The foldable panel sections also facilitate easier transport of the hanger and storage system when not in use.

  • Publication number: 20220335308
Abstract: A system and method for determining parameters for a system. Selectable questions with associated goal are presented. Operational goals are different from configurable parameters of the system. A question is selected and a goal indication is received. First values for each goal are determined by an optimization engine adjusting parameters of mathematical models for the system to improve a value of the goal associated with the selected question in a direction of the goal indication. Selectable questions and the first values are presented and selection of a second question and a second goal indication is received. An optimization engine determines second updated values by adjusting parameters of the mathematical model to improve a value of a goal associated with the second selected question in the direction of the second goal indication. Second updated values of the goals, and differences from the first updated values. are presented.

  • Patent number: 11224197
Abstract: The pet privacy barrier creates a protected space. The protected space formed by the pet privacy barrier provides a companion animal with a sense of security that allows the companion animal to generate the excretions and eliminations that form the befoulment of the companion animal. The pet privacy barrier comprises a barrier structure, a detachable canopy, and a base carpet. The barrier structure mounts on the base carpet. The detachable canopy removably attaches to the barrier structure. The barrier structure is a vertical structure that forms a portion of the boundary of the protected space. The detachable canopy is an elevated horizontal structure that forms a portion of the boundary of the protected space. The base carpet forms the pedestal of the pet privacy barrier. The base carpet simulates turf to provide a more natural environment for the activities of the companion animal.

  • Publication number: 20210012190
Abstract: An apparatus and method for optimizing a process, comprising: receiving live operational data associated with a plurality of sub-processes of a process; selecting a pre-trained regression model from a plurality of pre-trained regression models for each sub-process of the plurality of sub-processes; generating a system-wide optimization model comprising a multi-period mathematical program model, including: one or more decision variables; a plurality of constraints, wherein: a first constraint of the plurality of constraints comprises one of the pre-trained regression models, and a second constraint of the plurality of constraints comprises an operational constraint; and an objective function; generating, via the optimization model, an operating mode trajectory comprising a plurality of intermediate operating modes at a plurality of intermediate times during a planning interval; and displaying a set-point trajectory recommendation in a graphical user interface based on the operating mode trajectory.

  • Patent number: 9974441
Abstract: A fever detecting wrist band device comprises a flexible band and a fever detection device attached to the flexible band. The fever detection device comprises a thermochromic liquid crystal (TLC) material, which can change colors corresponding to a set of temperature ranges, encased in a transparent casing. The transparent casing has a thin bottom section to allow the TLC material to gather body heat when the wrist band is worn by a user and the bottom section comes in contact with the skin of the user. The transparent casing also insulates the TLC material from all sides which are not in contact with the skin of the user so that surrounding temperature of a user does not affect the color change of the TLC material. When the user wears the fever detecting wrist band device, the TLC material might change color indicating a higher body temperature of the user which in turn could indicate that either the user has a fever or the user might have a fever soon if not treated immediately.
