    Abstract: An apparatus for adjusting the operating position of casting vessels during the continuous casting of metals, especially steel, the casting vessels being arranged at a pivotable transport mechanism. There is provided a drive for pivoting such transport mechanism and a locking device for the operating position. The locking device embodies mechanism for adjusting the casting vessel in different operating positions.
