  • Patent number: 7966751
Abstract: Sole with stretchable structure, in which the forepart is associated with a stretchable material to fit differing foot widths easily; and footwear equipped with such a sole. The sole base (1) comprises openings (4) in which the lugs (3) of the stretchable part (2) are positioned in a sealed manner. The insole (5) comprises a deformable structure (6) in its forepart. When the wearer's foot is put into a footwear article provided with such a complex, it exerts pressure on the edges of the upper (10) thus causing deformation of the sole, which avoids feelings of compression of the foot.

  • Publication number: 20100024249
Abstract: Sole with stretchable structure, a footwear article provided with such a sole and its assembly method The invention relates to a footwear sole where the forepart is associated with a stretchable material making it possible to fit differing foot widths easily; it also relates to the footwear equipped with such a sole and the method for mounting this footwear. It is constituted of a sole base (1) comprising openings (4) in which the lugs (3) of the stretchable part (2) are positioned in a sealed manner. The insole (5) comprises a deformable structure (6) in its forepart. When the wearer's foot is put into a footwear article provided with such a complex, it exerts pressure on the edges of the upper (10) thus causing deformation of the sole. This ability of deforming the sole avoids feelings of compression of the foot. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for the manufacture of footwear with the ability of adapting to differing foot anatomies.

  • Patent number: 7384142
Abstract: A rimlock for use with an eyeglass frame is provided. The rimlock comprises a pair of flanges which protrude from the frame at a split therein. A spring is fed through a bore passing through the flanges whereby a portion of the spring internal to the rimlock at a widened portion of the bore is in tension thereby biasing the flanges into engagement allowing the frame to hold a lens in position within the frame. By pulling the flanges apart, the lens can be removed.

  • Patent number: 5755377
Abstract: A box-shaped carton having additional rectilinear corners for holding a plurality of glassware articles, which has increase vertical and/or horizontal stiffness for storing and stacking purposes. The carton includes at least five side panels to form at least one additional flat edge from the increased rectilinear corners for displaying printed material about the stored articles. The carton also can be folded into a sleeve when fully glued together. A blank for forming the carton is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5694598
Abstract: A first method is disclosed for mapping data from a plurality of objects to a relational database. The method begins with the step of generating a transit object and its structure (TO.sub.-- schema, dataGraph and dataBlocks). The next step of the method is populating the transit object based on the data of the plurality of objects. The method continues with the step of transmitting the transit object from the client object broker (COB) to the server object broker (SOB) using a communication server. The method next includes the step of populating a data structure based on the dataBlock object. The method concludes with the step of populating the relation&l database based on the data structure. A second method is also disclosed for mapping data from a relational database to a plurality of objects.

  • Patent number: 5681026
Abstract: Adjustable flow electromagnetic valve having a closing assembly (8) movable within a chamber (7) with a passage (3) linked to a high pressure area and a passage (4) linked to a low pressure area. The electromagnetic valve is designed such that the closing assembly consists of a valve (8) freely movable within the chamber (7). The disk-shaped valve (8) is flat, light and non-deformable and is capable of being automatically brought to its fluid flow position when pressure within the inlet passage (HP) (5) tends to a value approaching a predefined set pressure; the electromagnetic valve is also designed such that fluid flow through the valve (8) is achieved by openings (10) formed in the thickness of the valve, the openings being arranged in a median area outside the circumference of the inlet passage (3) so that the latter can be closed when the valve (8) is electromagnetically returned.

  • Patent number: 5579990
Abstract: A box-shaped carton for holding a plurality of glassware articles or the like and for visibly displaying at least one of said articles. The carton includes a cutout opening in at least one of the vertical perimeter corners and extending into each side panel adjacent the perimeter corner so that an article disposed within said carton behind said cutout is visible from the exterior of said carton. The carton also has integral cell-dividers on the top and bottom, and can be folded into a sleeve when fully glued together. A blank for forming the carton is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5550971
Abstract: A method and system for generating a user interface in a database management system. A semantic data model is used to describe a database in terms of data types stored in the database and functional types that describe relationships between the data types stored in the database. The system dynamically queries the data model to generate a graph of the data model itself. These queries are initiated by the system without user intervention. The user selects a node on the graph that causes the data model to be searched again to determine the name of the node selected, one or more types of relationships associated with the node selected and one or more instances of the relationships associated with the node selected. This information is used to generate a form containing a plurality of blanks. A user enters a query constraint into one or more of the blanks and the database is searched for instances of data meeting the query constraints.

  • Patent number: 5362474
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aerosol composition containing a carrier agent capable of recognizing and binding to inflammatory and tumor foci mobilizing macrophages in their immediate environment, and an aerosol substrate, characterized in that the said carrier agent consists of a polysaccharide compound selected from the compound D 25, extracted from the membrane proteoglycans of the bacterium Klebsiella pneumoniae and having a molecular weight of 30.+-.0.10 Kd, and the compound oxidized D 25 in which the galactofuranoser residue (Gal.sub.f) of the linear polysaccharide chain of D 25 has been converted to arabinose, and their amide, ester or ether type derivatives, as well as their quaternary ammonium derivatives and salts, and also the derivatives obtained by grafting of phosphatides.
