  • Device for fixing the knives of rotary mowers

    Abstract: A rotary mower is provided with its knives secured to an elastic member and the elastic member is in turn secured to the rotating cutting element, such as a disc, of the mower. This permits the knife to move radially in response to the centrifugal forces on the elastic member. The elastic member preferably has bulged ends which are mounted in housings attached to the cutting element.
