Abstract: Various methods and systems for implementing flexible parking subscriptions using a parking inventory and reservation management system are provided. A flexible parking subscription is a hybrid subscription that provides parking patrons with access to longer term parking plans (e.g. monthly) with the flexibility of daily parking options. Generally, a reservation engine manages an inventory pool of parking spaces from one or more participating parking lots using real-time inventory management and on-demand access to lot inventories. Patrons can request assignments from available inventory using a reservation application such as a mobile app or online portal. For example, patrons can request daily assignments for an upcoming week. The reservation engine assigns parking spaces from the inventory pool based on patron requests, available inventory and default assignments.
