Abstract: The invention relates to a stopper capsule, having an axial direction, including a shell, with a head, a skirt, and a joint, where a) the joint is a form joint, b) the form joint has b1) a resilient layer, a set of adjacent layers, b2.1) a barrier layer, b2.2) a malleable support layer with the function of providing the set of adjacent layers a global malleable property such that the joint can be shaped without creation of folds, b2.3) an outer layer having an outer surface which can be compressed by the axial compression resulting from stoppering such as to match the form of the mouth of the neck. The invention further relates to a method of production of the capsule and a method of stoppering.

Abstract: Anti-filling device to be attached to the neck of a bottle to be closed by a sealing cap, including attachment means for attachment to the bottleneck, a chamber including a lower lip surrounding a lower orifice and confining a moveable part which forms a valve in conjunction with the lower lip, and an axial distribution duct. The device further includes a moveable axial rod, secured to the anti-filling device, the axial movement of which relative to the device is limited between a low position and a high position, and at least one stopper which is in engagement with the moveable axial rod such that, when the moveable axial rod is located in the low position, the stopper shuts an orifice which is arranged in the chamber. The low position is imposed by a projection attached to the cap, which comes into contact with the moveable axial rod when the cap is attached to the bottleneck.

Abstract: The method comprises a) an extrusion stage wherein a extruded tube made of a thermoplastic material is formed by extrusion with the aid of an extrusion die having a diameter D0, a slit width E0 and a section S0; b) a stage wherein the extruded tube is radially expanded in order to form a radially expanded tube having a diameter D2, a thickness E2 and corresponding section of area S1; c) a truncating stage wherein the expanded tube is broken down into tube portions; d) a stage in which the tube portions are formed in such a way that a heat-shrinkable cap is obtained and in which an axial drawing stage is incorporated, between extrusion stage a) and expansion stage b), at the output of the extrusion die, in order to obtain an axially drawn tube having a diameter D1 which is typically smaller than D0 and D2, and a thickness E1 which is typically lower than E0, such that S0/S1 typically ranges between 2 and 10.

The joint has a central piece and a border piece. The insert includes a radial compression element, for the sealing joint against the neck, such that when the bottle closure is screwed to the neck, the border is compressed radially between the insert and the neck.

Abstract: The screw capsule includes two parts, a) an insert with a so-called internal head and an internally-threaded skirt a metallic shell, including an external head and an external skirt, the capsule being typically provided with a sealing element, a tamper-protection element and a member for first opening, characterised in that the external skirt includes at least one piece, typically cylindrical, of height, diameter corresponding to the neck for sealing and at least one radially-expanded section, of height, within a circle of diameter D2>D1, such as to form an annular radial cavity. The above offers the advantage that the expanded section particularly facilitates the manipulation of the capsule (1) and the rotation thereof with relation to the neck for opening/closing the container by unscrewing/screwing up the capsule on the neck.

Abstract: An anti-refilling device, designed to be fixed irreversibly to the neck of a container containing a liquid and to be closed by a stopper cap. The device has an axis coinciding with the axis of the neck when it is fixed on the neck, and has an axial dispensing duct for the liquid through which a transverse wall extends, fixed irreversibly to the anti-refilling device and provided with a plurality of traversing channels, each of the channels connecting an external opening, directed towards the outside of the container, to an internal opening, directed towards the inside of the container. The smallest dimension of the external opening is less than a critical dimension determined according to the critical surface tension of the material making up the transverse wall, typically about 0.7 mm, and the smallest dimension of the internal opening is greater than the critical dimension.

Abstract: A functional insert including a body which is provided with at least one flexible flange on the outer surface thereof, for creating a tight connection with the neck, and a functional element. The functional insert is characterised in that: a) it includes an adhesive which is typically carried by the flange and is selected in such a way that it adheres to the neck of the recipient, and b) the adhesive is typically a permanent adhesive selected in terms of its consistency or viscosity such that it only squeezes out under stress. In this way, any axial displacement towards the top of the functional insert is prevented by fixing the body to the neck of the recipient by means of an adhesive contact region.

Abstract: Composite stopper cap includes: a) a metal cap having a crimp region and a means of easy initial opening, b) a plastics insert joined to a top part of the metal cap, the insert having a sealing head and an internally threaded skirt, and c) at least one first outer component assembled to the metal cap, the first outer component having at least one peripheral hand grip part. The cap is also includes a second outer component assembled to a metal connecting skirt in such a way as to cover and conceal the lower part of the metal cap.

Abstract: A method for crowning a container neck, such as a bottle, by securing or crimping a cap provided with a skirt on the neck, the neck including a glass ring with a lower shoulder, including the steps of a) crimping the cap to the neck, so as to form a swaged portion of the skirt; b) marking the swaged portion of the skirt with an etching device, to form an etching on the swaged portion based on an etching pattern. The visual mark reduces the mechanical properties of the swaged portion, so as to prevent any fraudulent attempt to uncrimp the cap from the neck or any recycling of the bottle.
