    Abstract: An electric industrial truck which can be operated in either a walking mode or a riding mode. The truck has an electric drive motor and a draw-bar with controls thereon. A platform is pivotally attached to the truck for movement between a vertical position and a horizontal position. The truck includes a locking device to lock the platform in the horizontal operating position to prevent accidental movement of the platform during operation of the truck.
