  • Patent number: 10848357
Abstract: A method for estimating parameters of a single signal or mixed-frequency signals in a given frequency band comprises: receiving the signal(s); calculating a spectral correlation function having variables f and ? (cyclic frequency) for different values of L taken from a set of q strictly positive values, where, for each q, ? can independently take on one or more discrete values and/or cover one or more value ranges; from each calculation, extracting a set of local maxima detected on the basis of the variables f and ? or on the basis of variable f for each discrete value of ?, each of said peaks being characterized by a triplet [LApi, LFpi, L?pi], LFpi and L?pi being the frequency and cyclic frequency of said triplet, respectively, and LApi being the amplitude; and identifying groups of triplets as being the signature left by a set of parameters making up the signal(s).

  • Publication number: 20190044767
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for estimating parameters of a single signal or mixed-frequency signals in a given band. The method includes the following steps: receiving (E0) a single signal or mixture of signals y(t) in a given frequency band, determining (E3) for L, a strictly positive real number taken in a set of q, q being strictly positive, predetermined value {L1, . . . ; Lq]} of the spectral correlation function (I), where (II) is the cyclic autocorrelation function for raising the sampled version y(n) of the signal y(t) to the power of L, where Ft[.] is the Fourier transform, and where, for each q, ? can separately take one or more discrete values and/or cover one or more value ranges, —processing (E4) each transform LSCFy(f, ?), L being taken in a set of q, q being strictly positive, predetermined values [Li; . . .

  • Patent number: 6968155
Abstract: A method for processing radio signals of a plurality of radio communication standards occupying a broadband frequency having a step which consists in broadband analysis to acquire information on the signals contained in the frequency broadband and selecting an appropriate narrowband processing to demodulate the radio signals; and a step which consists in processing in narrowband the radio signals contained in the frequency broadband to demodulate them.

  • Patent number: 6052702
Abstract: A decision feedback filter device which has a forward filter (FF) and a feedback filter (FB) for the production, from input symbols (x(n)), of the corresponding decisions (d(n)), the forward filter (FF) receiving the input symbols at input, and the feedback filter (FB) receiving the decisions (d(n)) at input. The forward filter (FF) carries out a frequency domain filtering of blocks of M input symbols, and the feedback filter (FB) carries out a frequency domain filtering of blocks of L decisions, with L being lower than M. The feedback filter permits the intersymbol interference caused by the reception of echoes to be rectified.

  • Patent number: 5768165
Abstract: A method for filtering a time signal (e(t)) sampled in blocks of N samples (e(n),e(k)) uses a transfer function defined in the frequency domain by LN samples (H(K)). The transfer function is filtered by a time window (g1) of width N, and a frequency subsampling of ratio N is performed to give a partial transfer function defined over N samples (H1(k)). The method enables the complexity of circuits operating in real time to be optimized. The technique is particularly suitable for correcting long echoes in television picture receivers.

  • Patent number: 5159609
Abstract: The field of the invention is that of data processing modules placed in a receiver of a data transmission or emission network, and charged with the equalizing and time-pulse recovery of the received data, in order to furnish to the next elements of the chain of the receiver a clear signal with a clean and resynchronized clock phase. The objective is to provide a device extending the limits of restoring the service in the case of strong disturbances of the channel.
