  • Method and device for magnetic guidance, especially for tracking targets

    Abstract: A process and a device for electromagnetic guidance of a craft, applied in particular to the tracking of targets. Guidance is carried out with respect to the axis of the beam of a monopulse antenna, by coding in space of the beam. The coding is carried out by appropriate modulation of the signals radiated by a sum pattern and difference pattern. A receiver is disposed in the craft to make it possible to determine the position of the craft with respect to the antenna radiation patterns, and hence its position with respect to the axis of the antenna, the determination of this position being performed by demodulating the signals captured by the receiver. The process and device may be applied in particular in respect of the guidance of any number of missiles or intelligent munitions, for example in the tracking of targets.

    Abstract: A fluid control system (50) is provided for a work machine (10) having first and second compacting drums (14,16). First and second hydraulic motors (28,32) are connected in series and power first and second vibratory mechanisms (26,30) located within the first and second compacting drums (14,16). A control valve (60) supplies pressurized fluid to the first hydraulic motor (28). The pressurized fluid is transferred through a bypass circuit (74) around the second hydraulic motor (32). A sequencing device (80) closes the bypass circuit (74) transferring the pressurized fluid to the second hydraulic motor (32) after actuation of the first hydraulic motor (28).

    Abstract: The invention pertains mainly to a method and a device for the display of targets and/or target positions using the data acquisition means of a weapons system.The device of the present invention can be used to display the target or the direction of the target acquired by missile homing heads. This data comes as a complement, and other data on the position of the target is used to ascertain that the homing head is properly locked on as well as to supplement any lack of information caused, for example, by a breakdown in the display systems. The invention can be applied mainly to the building of anti-aircraft defense launching platform or anti-aircraft and anti-tank launching platform.
