  • Patent number: 8698667
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for countering and tracking a threat in the form of a homing-head missile, comprising a homing head adapted to receive an incident coherent light beam and to deflect same to produce a transmitted beam. The invention is characterized in that the homing head comprises a biprism including two prisms made of different materials and adapted to divide the transmitted beam into two sub-beams, the refractive index difference between the prisms being adapted to introduce an optical path difference between the two sub-beams which is greater than the coherence length of the incident beam.

  • Patent number: 7692126
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for countering and tracking a threat with optical delay device in the form of a homing-head missile, comprising a homing head adapted to receive an incident coherent light beam and in deflecting same to produce a transmitted beam. The invention is characterized in that the homing head comprises a biprism dividing the transmitted beam into two sub-beams, the biprism being associated with an optical delay device introducing an optical path difference between the two sub-beams greater than the coherence length of the incident beam.

  • Patent number: 7573624
Abstract: In the orientation device of a transmission assembly for orienting at least one beam in elevation and/or in bearing, said assembly pivots on a fork about an elevation axis and is driven about this axis by a motor supported by said fork, which fork can pivot on a base about a bearing axis, perpendicular to the elevation axis and driven about this axis by a second motor supported by said base, and at least one of the motors is a travelling-wave piezoelectric rotary motor.

  • Patent number: 4146867
Abstract: High precision film resistors are designed as a main resistive element corresponding to half the total value associated with five additional resistive elements the values of each of which are successively half of the value of the preceding one plus one resistive element of the same value as the smallest element of the five above mentioned elements, each of the additional element is originally short-circuited, adjustment being performed by cancelling at least one of the short circuits. This design of the resistive elements allows a reduced number of short circuit suppressions than previously used designs with the same precision.
