  • Patent number: 9385963
Abstract: A system for allocating constrained resources (e.g., downstream services, execution threads, database connections, input/output channels, computational resources, and/or memory) to requested services that are dependent on those resources may include multiple resource queues, each of which maintains a queue of requests for a respective constrained resource, and multiple service request queues, from which requests may be subsequently serviced. As each request reaches the head of a resource queue, it may receive a resource token for a respective constrained resource. Once the request has collected resource tokens for each of the constrained resources on which it depends, the request may be passed to a service request queue that maintains a queue of requests of a particular type. Requests in the multiple service request queues may be serviced on a round-robin or weighted round-robin basis. The number of tokens available for each constrained resource may be modified based on observed system performance.

Abstract: A method for opening a dome for the protection of a device to be protected, fitted in a part described as fixed, in which, in the initial position before opening, a generally plane interface separates the dome from the fixed part, is provided. The method includes connecting the dome to the fixed part by at least two independent double-link connections that are movable in rotation between the dome and the fixed part. The links in a single connection being fitted in common to the dome and to the fixed part to form overall a pantograph in the shape of an isosceles trapezium which, during opening, opens out by pivoting until maximum opening is achieved, so that the dome moves away from the fixed part via a combination of movements in translation and in rotation.

  • Publication number: 20160188501
Abstract: Flow logic supports concurrency of multiple threads and/or tag IDs to be concurrently communicated across the interconnect while allowing the one or more target IP cores to be able to reorder incoming request transactions from the initiator IP core in a manner that is optimal for that target IP core while relieving that target IP core from having to maintain the sequential issue order of transaction responses to the incoming request transactions in the thread or tags when processed by the target IP core. The flow logic cooperates with the reorder storage buffers to control an operation of the reorder storage buffers as well as control issuance of at least the request transactions from the initiator IP core onto the interconnect in order to maintain proper sequential ordering of the transaction responses for the thread or tags when the transaction responses are returned back to the initiator IP core.
